BEWARE – DO NOT GO HERE!!! EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, VIOLENT, AND AGGRESSIVE!! I showed up 15 min early for my appointment that was at 6:30. I walked into an empty salon – no one was there at all. I waited and waited, tried calling on the phone that was there and therefore unattended and no one answered. I kept looking outside to see if anyone was nearby and there was no one in sight. I waited nearly 25 minutes until the owner strolled in at 6:40, 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment. She said she went out without her phone and was stuck in traffic. I told her the right thing to do would have been to call me and let me know. Note that I called twice that day to confirm my appointment. Why would she leave right before an appointment and especially without a phone? She was extremely rude and unprofessional. She lied and said she told someone to sit at the front desk yet there was no one there. I told her instead of arguing with me she should apologize to me as her customer. She got extremely aggressive with me and clapped in my face and started yelling saying she was refusing to give me service. I told her I paid for a service and she should therefore provide it. She then told me to leave her salon and she called the police. Leaving a salon unattended is extremely unprofessional and to not be apologetic about it is unacceptable. Her aggressive behavior and calling the police was truly despicable treatment, especially towards a paying customer. I took time off from work to get to this appointment which is very far away, so I wound up wasting 2 hours to not even get any service.

I was gifted a Groupon for a Prenatal massage at Vidells. Videll was very nice and professional. I had a hard time finding her suite as I had never been to Trolley Square before. I called and she stayed on the phone with me until I was able to find her. My massage was relaxing and enjoyable. (She does keep the door locked while she is with a client to maintain privacy. The suite has curtains around the massage table, not permanent walls. It’s best to not show up before your scheduled appointment time if you do not want to wait outside)

You have been here before.” I recently moved to DE and had NEVER been there before and my first time using a Groupon with her. When she realized I was a first time customer she snapped out of it and told me to wash my hands for my facial. I was so confused. I walked out and she was talking to herself. She appeared erratic and moved frantically. Some of the most bizarre occurrences: She used a bucket from the janitors closet to wash my face (claimed the water was very clean) her dog roamed around the shop, she used NOXEMA on my face, she worked my face dry for the first 10 min (painful) she also talked at length about her family which left me concerned for her mental welfare. If zero was an available rating I’d use it. I showed up at 12:12 for a 12:30 appt. Though I tapped on the door the owner ignored me and made me wait outside. As she let a young man out I came in and took a seat in the parlor. When I told her that I’d never been to a salon where they make you wait in the cold Videll crossly said “There’s a first time for everything.” I said ,” let’s not have this conversation. I’d like to just have my massage.” She said, “I don’t want to serve you…get your money back from Groupon.” She’s a thief, and likely providing services that you’d get arrested for. There was a lovely spa at other end of the compound. Great massage! Videll is disgusting.

The overall experience wasn’t that great. When scheduling the appointment, immediately I was met with rudeness and I was blown away but I had hoped maybe she was having a bad day. When I got to the place for the massage, it was clear that it was the norm. I had gotten the Groupon to scope out new massage places before deciding on one we like that we would go back to monthly since we work out a lot. I had also got one as a gift for my boyfriend. We both had terrible customer service experiences. The massage itself was okay for both of us. I do not recommend.

Extremely rude! I forfeit the money spent on my groupon just to not get a massage from this place. I am 9 month pregnant and was having a hard time getting up to the building. When I called for help getting up, the owner answered the phone with extreme attitude and very impatiently directed me. When I explained my location she literally yelled at me. That’s when I cancelled my appointment. I couldnt believe someone would speak to a customer the way she spoke to me. I cant believe she even has a buisness still. Trust me do not go to this place. I was supposed to have a relaxing prenatal massage that I was really looking forward to but instead I left with no massage and I am more wound up and stressed than i was before. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!

By far the worst experience of my life. Went for a waxing after purchasing Groupon and trust me you do not want to go to Videll’s for your waxing service. She was very rude and just did not make my first experience comfortable. When I expressed how painful the experience was, she immediately got defensive and said well we can stop if you want. Just very poor customer service. I’m shocked she’s still in business. I’m literally traumatized. This experience brought me to tears and if I could give below a 1 star I would. Please don’t go here for Brazilian Wax.

Videll is disrespectful, brash and has no bedside manner. Very unprofessional, paying bills over the phone while I waited. She was rough and rude. Even after telling her this was my first expert and I was afraid, she replied don’t holler because it pisses me off. She also accused me of bring late and asked me to finish at home. She forgot the time she gave me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m a black woman or because she’s a bitch. She is the only employee here and all services are available through Groupon. I now know why. I don’t recommend anyone use this womans service. She’s evil and so hope she sees this. I do not feel pampered I feel abused, I wish this wasnt my first experience. Thanks for ruining it heffa

Called to make 2 appointments with the groupons I had purchased. The owner was extremely rude and unprofessional on the phone. Very sarcastic and had an aggressive attitude when discussing the Groupon. You would think as the business owner she would be both pleasant and respectful but this was absolutely not the case here. Wish I could give negative stars, needless to say I will not be getting my massage nor will I ever recommend this spa to anyone else.
