This was the first time ive gotten cornrows. I am asian so my hair is different from the people that Vicky usually works on and my experience might be different. I believe it was also her first time working with asian hair and my hair is really long so this took about 2 hrs. I really like it for my first time and they came out really nice. Her mom was there when i had my appt and she helped detangle my hair which was really nice. I had expected the hairline of where hair was being added to line up (see top view photo) and there are a few thin hair bumps but again since it was my first time and her first time working with my hair i still think it is really good.

We’ve been going to Vicky’s for a couple years. She is always so friendly and does an excellent job on crochet hair. The best thing is to show her a picture of your vision and she creates a masterpiece. The install doesn’t fall out; she knows what’s she doing. It’s always a pleasure catching up with her and her mother when she’s in town.

I got 5 cornrow braids and they came out amazing. I get my hair braided normally but these were by far the best. I just recently took my old braids out and she put new ones in and my scalp was not hurting like it usually does. They come out tight but it doesn’t hurt one bit.
