I’ve come to see Kaori here a few times ever since I moved to Dublin. Kaori and her team are extremely skilled stylists and have quite a bit of experience working with colored hair and Asian hair. She did a red/purple balayage on my hair last year and was able to transition it to a blue ombre this year!

Missed the first one due to a last min work appt but they didn’t complain or penalize. Went there for second. The place was very clean with only 2 customers. If you’re willing to pay a bit more for your haircut, this place is a gem. A truly relaxing experience, you are provided coffee, tea, or sparking wine (or water!). The stylists also give you a great scalp massage during your hair wash and even a shoulder massage with essential oils post wash. It’s truly a delightful and indulgent hair care experience. But of course, more importantly the stylists are excellent. My husband and I have both been going to Itsumi for a few years now. She is super friendly and has a great eye for what works for your face and hair texture. I know she gives us great haircuts, because our hair looks fresh and styled weeks (and months for me) after our visits. It used to be that my husband’s hair would look scraggly and messy after a few weeks, which is a big no-no in his client facing job. But after coming to Itsumi and Viange, he actually is able to extend the time between haircuts because it grows out so well. Yes, it’s pricier, but we really feel like we get the full value of what we pay for in the full salon experience and the excellent haircuts.

Overpriced and mediocre. The hairdresser Aki took 5 calls during my haircut while I sat and waited. I spent waiting for more time than getting my hair cut/washed. The service itself cost $90 although I remember seeing $60 in the website. Had a very bad experience and would not go back and would recommend you don’t.

This is a really great salon even by Japanese standards! Staff is extraordinarily clean, polite, and patient. I previously made the mistake of getting my bangs trimmed at another establishment, just so glad Shin was able to fix it right up!

My haircut was completely messed up. The stylist clearly didn’t know what to do with my hair because she kept asking a 100times on what needs to be done with every portion of my hair. A stylist needs to know what kind of hairstyle I expect but needs to also know what will suit my hair and face as it’s their profession. She messed up completely with my bangs, my layers were uneven and she refused to touch my short layers (I don’t even know why!). I had to go to another salon in a month and finally found a sensible stylist who corrected all of my layers and bangs.
