Sophie is wonderful. Super nice and very friendly. That entire salon has passionate hard working individuals. After experiencing multiple nail salon over 25 years locally I would choose this place due to attention to detail you receive plus a warm hearted staff.

Sophie fit me in last minute to do a fill and reshape/new color my acrylic set. Initially I was there to change out and get a whole new set with tips, but she suggested the fill since I only had them done 2 weeks ago (at a different place), which I thought was so nice because she could have said nothing and had the up-sale. Also they were shaped perfectly! She took extra care to make sure they were totally smooth and uniform without any cliffs or bubbles. And she did them the exact length I requested (idk why but the last 5 nail salons I’ve been to have insisted they have to be longer to do the shape I like, almond). And she didn’t make my cuticles bleed. I seriously haven’t been so happy with a manicure in the 5 years since I moved from Florida, I finally found a reliable manicurist! Not to mention it was only $45! The only warning I have: when you walk in, it’s also a hair salon so the chemical smell is off the charts between the nails & hair dye, but that can’t be helped. The storefront could use a face-lift, but don’t let it deter you! Excellent service at an unbeatable price

I always call in advance to make sure I can get in before going for pedicure. They have the best soa pedicure I have ever experienced. It’s easy to relax and escape at VG Salon. I always like to support small family business. And most important I like how they line the foot tubs with plastic for your feet to soak, and still sanitize after use even though your feet do not touch anything but plastic while your feet soak. Girls are always friendly.

Although the shop felt friendly, I soon noticed the tools were not as sanitary as I would like. I noticed the tech at the next customer put used gloves back on, the Dremel, nail file, dust brush & pretty much everything she had laid out to use had obviously been previously used. When I mentioned that she did not respond. I asked her to quit because I was done. It took a while before she stopped working so i could leave. I paid for my polish removal and left, never to return.

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, ValueWow! This was my first time to go to VG after becoming totally dissatisfied with a salon I went to for years. Ann did a fabulous job on my gel fills and pedicure. She took time on my pedicure and my feet feel amazing! She gave me the very best gel fills ever! Wow! This was my first time to go to VG after becoming totally dissatisfied with a salon I went to for years. Ann did a fabulous job on my gel fills and pedicure. She took time on my pedicure and my feet feel amazing! She gave me the very best gel fills ever! The polish went on nice and smooth and no smudges or lumps. I’ll definitely be back again!

Critical: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Quality, ValueIf I could give zero stars I would. I don’t know who is giving 4 stars to this dump but they must be crazy! I walked in, all the seats are old with leather peeling, the lady doing manicures SNEEZED on the table TWICE and did not cover her face or sanitize the table after. In this age of Covid, that’s totally unacceptable and unprofessional. Then they had three children there which usually is no problem, I’m a mother, I totally get not having childcare. BUT all three kids were running around the salon literally screaming and running into their mom/woman doing my pedicure – pumping her and myself at least 6 times, showing her things while she’s using the drill on my toes which made her cut me on multiple toes. Then when she was buffing my nails she buffed my skin bad enough I said ow multiple times and and pulled away. Due to the good reviews I wanted to push through, but after the kids were screaming and crying and bumping the lady so much, pushing each other down I had to leave. After she applied the clear base coat I said okay we can stop sorry I need to go. I said I’d would pay for the buffing of my feet and filing my nails at least and I apologized. I apologized?? And they tried to charge me the full $40 and I said uh no, I didn’t even get polish and I’m leaving because this is insane and I need to relax. She said out $35 and I said no, I’ll pay $20 because half the job was done and the manager came out and tried to say $30 I said no, she finally said oky $20. I left and will never go back.
