1. I am disabled. I hired them to perform a haircut 1 block from their office at a 50 dollar charge. I used to have this firm cut my hair. Due to an accident. I am permanently in a wheelchair. I called and it was very difficult to gain entrance to the shop. They made an appointment to come to my office which is a block away and they never showed up for my 6pm appointment. No apology, no call back. The only thing I was told was the hair cutter was busy and he forgot. I would never use this place due to the fact that they treat disabled people as second class citizens. They should be ashamed of themselves. What they did and how they acted was disguisting. They have lost multiple customers as a result if this situation. TERRIBLE!!!! No show. No call. When I called they said. Oh well! You should come to the shop. Our people are tired and busy. This was just before Covid 19. They are worse now. Their cleanliness is in question. Check them out if you do not believe me. They do not clean items between haircuts in violation with Covid 19 practices. This is verified from a good friend.

There newest employee has ruined the shop… I never got many haircuts while I was on LI but when i did i stopped her. It used to just be the 2 barbers and they did an alright job when I really needed it. But now every time I go it’s the new small Spanish guy. He’s terrible and lazy… I once went in around 10am and when i got in the chair he complained that he hadnt eaten breakfast and needed a break for it bc he was the only one there and he would start getting moody if he didnt. 2 people walked in as i was in the chair and he denied them cuts bc he was gonna go on break. I was shocked and he rushed my cut and f’d it up. I came back 2 week laters at 6:35 pm and they close at 7. He ran outside closer the shutters came back in and was like we close soon. I looked at my phone and i go yeah in almost a half hour. It wasnt like i came in 5 or 10 min before i wouldnt do that. He then told me last haircut is at 6:45… He had one person in the chair so i was like can you squeeze me in. He said he would only cut my hair and not trim my beard. So i sat down as he basically gave the same sob story of its only him working and if gives more cuts he’ll be here till 7:30. He made the guy feel guilty for getting a haircut when all he asked for was for a 1 all around. I was pissed got up and left. It’s a shame bc i dont know if the owner knows he turns down customers left and right bc he is to lazy to work. Or if it’s bad management bc i never see anyone else there. Either way go somewhere else bc your taking a 50/50 chance on getting a good cut. Sometimes they will use a straight razor sometimes a close buzzer. Not worth the money or the bad look.
