Veronica had a really great attitude and presented the pros and cons, but was overall very willing and excited to make the change with my hair. She explained everything really well and worked meticulously to make sure it looked as quality as possible. I came in with long, dark brown hair and left with a very cute blonde bob. Something I’d always wanted to do, but was often discouraged by other hairstylists since it is a drastic change. Veronica had a really great attitude and presented the pros and cons, but was overall very willing and excited to make the change with my hair. She explained everything really well and worked meticulously to make sure it looked as quality as possible. My hair is thick, has uneven texture, and is prone to frizz. Many stylists over the years have tried to relieve some of the bulk of my hair by thinning and “feathering” the ends. Veronica… whatever she did (it’s a mystery to me- might as well be magic)… she relieved the weight of my hair while somehow keeping the ends of my hair looking thick and healthy. My hair responded to her work beautifully. It had life, body, shine, smoothness- everything. We all know how good hair can look just after a new cut and style… but it’s hard to achieve the same look and quality after we wash and style our hair at home. With Veronica, this is NOT the case! I have been washing and styling my hair for weeks and it feels like the day she cut it. Minimal styling and my hair is ready for the day. She really paid attention to the photo that I showed her, my hair type and face shape and what I told her that I wanted. She gave me her honest opinion and even talked me out of getting an extra treatment because she didn’t think I needed it. Veronica ended up coloring and cutting my hair in a way that flatters my face shape and works with my hair texture. Veronica and Sasha Moon Salon did everything right and I felt at ease during my entire appointment. Everyone is required to wear masks and the front door was kept open to allow air flow into the salon. Veronica is the ultimate professional. After examining my hair type, she and I discussed what I wanted, which was to decrease the density/heaviness of my hair, and she thoroughly explained all the ways she could get there while making sure the end result that I envisioned stayed intact. She’s so personable and positive, it was like visiting an old friend. She listens and cares about what you want. I asked for a light dusting as I wanted to keep my hair length, fully expecting that an inch or more might go based on previous hair stylists who were more liberal with their trims, but not Veronica. Veronica is the stylist I wish I’d had my whole adult life. I’ve had terrible experiences elsewhere, which is why I’ve avoided doing anything to my hair as much as possible…which means it’s pretty boring and I don’t really know how to take care of it. Veronica was such a patient listener and explained what was actually possible based on my hair and how I typically style it. I absolutely adore how it turned out and I’m finally excited about this aspect of my appearance. It seriously means so much to have this trust with her! I will absolutely be back. She’s the best.
