Excellent service! Beautiful people! My first time seeing Vera was magnificent! I am excited I found her! She specializes in ALL HAIR! I have a mix of African, European, and Asian hair.It is so hard to find a hair stylist with range and versatility! The fact that she loves doing African American hair is definitely a plus! Vera is the best in Evanston & Chicago area! She is so friendly, professional and patient! I came with incredibly tangled extensions and was afraid my hair would rip and get destroyed. Vera very patiently and carefully removed each of the extensions without ripping any hair, and then combed it leaving it like new. We had great conversation and her products are top of the line! She uses the olaplex line which is Chemical free, and leaves the hair and color looking incredibly radiant. Im definitely coming back for blowouts and coloring. Thank you Vera!!

I went to Vera’s last weekend for a wash and style. It was the first time I’d ever brought my son along to a hair appointment so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Vera was prompt, accommodating and friendly. As a mixed race woman with curly hair, I’ve had a hard time finding a stylist I could trust. Happy to say, Vera is the one. Vera saved my hair. I came in with a bleached dead poodle on my head. Tricoci Salon in Skokie burned off and messed up my hair. Go to Vera, she fixed it and it looks a lot better, she also uses natural products so it did not damage my hair as much. She’s been doing it for 22 years and is awesome. Vera did my hair at the salon, unfortunately my hair coloring did not take and the cut of my hair was ok not good and I was told that if I come back that it would be done free of charge, today I was told that Vera was going to charge me $95 for the coloring. My first visit hair coloring haircut and styling was $200… After Vera washed my hair she gave me a price. This place is a joke……Money hungry place… I was given awful service……………..
