First time customer at Venus and we will definitely be back! Two of us got pedicures and two of us got full set acrylic nails! Kayla did an amazing job with the colors/designs requested and was so very pleasant and accommodating! The rest of the staff were equally as friendly! The pedicures were so relaxing and we were quite pleased with the trimming and polishing job! Thanks so much for a great experience!

I’m a newish customer to manicures, and Venus nails and Kayla are great! I get compliments every time I leave here and they take great care for both manicure and pedicures I have received. It’s a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. They take the time to make sure I’m good I’m happy and I know what’s going on.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. I’ve never seen service professionals be so RUDE in my entire life. I had got engaged early that day on the beach in OC and wanted to get my nails done, stumbling upon this place. The original nail salon I chose (which had great reviews) said they didn’t have a nail tech anymore and only cut hair now so they directed me to this place. What a nightmare experience. The woman that did my nails talked on the phone the entire time about how her boyfriend is a dead-beat and she wanted to end it with him but she had kids and they needed a father figure…. she talked through AirPods so I had no idea if she was talking to me or not at times. It was cripplingly awkward and so unprofessional. I wanted to die inside. Not paying attention, she used a very coarse manicure cube against my cuticle and I immediately started bleeding everywhere. It wouldn’t have bothered me at all if it weren’t so negligent. My pinky bled for a good 15 minutes through the process. But it didn’t stop there, instead of giving me a nail color book, she said to just pick a polish off the wall. It was so unorthodox and I couldn’t tell what the colors really were. I came to sit back down and she told me to get up and that “her client finally arrived”. I was stunned and confused- as soon as I stood up, another lady took my place and she immediately handed her a nail color book.. I felt so unwelcome and as if I were being pranked for a YouTube channel or something. Another lady called me over to her station, she was a little better but didn’t display much emotion or talk really at all but it was a godsend compared to my treatment before. She tried her best to get my pinky to stop bleeding and painted that nail last. This place only took cash, so that was a whole other shady and unexpected layer to the situation, which made me start to think the whole place was a front for something but who knows. I paid, tipped, and left quietly, even though I was burning mad and upset. My nails were uneven lengths and my pinky was framed in dried blood. Worst experience I’ve ever had and a true waste of $60. Wasn’t the best way to kick off my once in a lifetime engagement to say the least. I’d definitely look elsewhere, ladies!

This was the worse service we ever had. Definitely not what we asked for. Even showed a picture of what my daughter wanted length and shape. When we said we weren’t happy the owner got smart and raised his voice. Had my daughter in tears. She has homecoming Saturday and this is their work. The worst nails ever. Reason why we came to this place is because we were going to be in the area. Never again. Definitely not worth $75.00. Told us if we wanted them fixed he was gonna charge us $30.00 more. What a joke. He tore up the sides of her fingers and has Gel top coat all over her fingers. First picture is what she wanted second is what the owner did.

I haven’t had a positive nail experience anywhere in OC until today. I’m so happy I stopped in! They were quick to help me (even on a busy rainy Friday) and Kayla was a doll. She was sweet and thorough and had a great eye for detail.

Didn’t have the best experience here but knew it was a chop shop type nail place where I wasn’t going to get amazing services. However, I’m a little frustrated at my experience. The tech rushed through my manicure and was talking on the phone the whole time. I was in and out in like 30m. Could only pick from colors off the wall which looked crusty and you couldn’t tell which ones were gel, She was also really rough with my nails- pressed really hard to push the cuticles back to the point I flinched and pulled my hand away, nail drill burned the skin on the side of my nail and she clipped me several times while taking off my cuticles to the point where I was bleeding on several fingers. Just dabbed it with a tissue and kept going. She also spent the entire time yelling at a kid who I assumed was her son. I get that childcare is expensive and know how hard it can be to work a full time job with kids. I normally don’t mind if people have to watch their kids at work but he kept throwing things in the ground and even tried to press buttons on the ATM as I was using it. Overall, wouldn’t go back.

I have tried this place twice and both times I have been extraordinarily disappointed. First time, the lady that did my nails had no idea what was going on and all my nails were crooked. I wanted to give them a second chance so I went again. The guy who did my nails was nice, but my nails were all crooked again and a day after my nails were done, they started to peel off. I do not recommend this place for acrylic nails.

I got a regular old manicure, and it was so thick, it cracked within the day, and all but flaked off by the 3rd day. My pedicure was much better. Still on there! It was done by 2 different people. They only accept cash.
