Nails are uneven. Paint is thicker and wavy on some nails. Nail glue was on skin. Been here many times. This nail tech was someone I’d never seen there before and I didn’t get her name. I’d go again because of great service in previous visits, but I won’t let her do them again. So if you’re a regular, continue using who you’re use to there, not anyone new.

I really can’t recommend this place. I used to come here a lot, but my older sister had a really horrible experience which I was physically there for. She came to get an eyebrow wax. After the aesthetician was finished waxing her eyebrows, she immediately began to try to wax my sister’s upper lip. My sister said no, she didn’t want an upper lip wax. But the aesthetician began applying the wax anyway, forcing it on my sister. After she ripped the wax off, she showed the wax pad with the hair to my sister and said “see, you needed this.“ And then waxed the other side as well. My sister was really horrified and scared because she thought That her hair will grow back darker and thicker. I’ve had an upper lip wax so I tried to tell her but that wasn’t going to happen. But still. The whole thing had her really shaken and scared. She didn’t want that service and it was forced on her. They still charged her for it anyway. I don’t think she should’ve paid but my sister really just wanted to get out of there so she paid for both services anyway. Any place which will literally force services on clients it’s not one that I could go to.

They’re also willing to work with you and customize your experience. I’m really picky about my eyebrows and they are always careful and do a great job every time. I miss the place when Sandy ran it. The girls were friendly and although they would talk to each other from time to time, they concentrated on their work and gave you a relaxing time. Under the new management, the place is nice, quiet with nice music , but the girls barely understand a word if English and spend their time talking to one another. I have never had a relaxing pedicure there with new management. Once I was cut and missed being cut another time. Leg massages are rough and not at all satisfying. I’m very disappointed because every place I read about has similar issues. I am a teacher of English language learners so I understand cultural differences . I’ve lived abroad as well so I am used to international situations. Everyone Is Polite , kind and accommodating, The manager is fluent in English and may do pedicures herself , I’m not sure. I may have to talk to the manager about how I feel and the fact that her girls should stop conversing all the time. Maybe I should offer them lessons in English! I’m just disappointed not to get a relaxing pedicure anymore .

Wonderful nail salon with a lot more. The owner remembers clients well: you become like family. The staff is excellent, both kind and professional. The prices are very reasonable and you get great value for your money. Venus offers all types of nail work, several levels of pedicures, and waxing services. Easy and plentiful parking. They accept cash and credit cards but not checks. Again, great place.

Made an appointment for 4:30 for a manicure and on the phone they made it clear I have to be there at 4:30 but when I show up they tell me I can’t get in yet I have to wait 20 minutes so I wait the 20 minutes and the whole time the nail techs are laughing and talking in their language my nail tech even spit in my face because of how hard she was laughing on top of that she was very rough and cut my finger twice one of them very deeply too. I do not recommend this place at all if you don’t want to leave the shop bleeding and spat on.
