I was a walk-in, so I understand the 30-min wait, but no apology or “Thanks for patience,” like a usual, polite business would do. & upon seeing their pedicure chairs, I was shocked at how dirty and unkempt they were. I stood there for a second & didn’t even sit down, because I was unsure I wanted to leave or mention cleaning it beforehand, but didn’t want to come off demanding. There was nail dust everywhere, on the arm chairs & foot rests. I don’t know when they clean, but I never saw the guy who took care of me wipe anything down or any other staff. After he clipped my nails & scrubbed my heels, he just shook the towel off on to the floor with all those shavings…. So who knows how many other clients’ heel/feet dust is all over that floor because he did not sweep after this. Ugh it was just such a nasty experience I just wanted to get out of there. On top of that, he dropped his gloves ON TO THE SAME FLOOR AND THEN USED THEM! They need re-educated on cleanliness!!!

I came to Venice Nail Spa to have a manicure for my engagement photos. During the manicure, the manicurist clipped my cuticle and my thumb started to bleed quite a lot. She apologized, which was expected, and started to put several different chemicals on my thumb to stop the bleeding. The chemicals burned and stung. The bleeding didn’t stop so she continued to do my nails. I was very disappointed since my photos were going to be 2 hours later and it was on my left hand. When I went to pay, I realized how Venice Nail Spa is way overpriced . I paid $42 for a French manicure while my mother, who was there the same day, paid $35 for a pedicure. I was shocked by the price as I normally do not pay that for a manicure at other places and that it was more expensive than the pedicure. Furthermore, I would expect a business to at least discount a service when a client’s cuticle is clipped to the point of bleeding. I would not recommend going here of a manicure.

I am Chloe Wellens mother, and as much as I tried to explain to them beforehand and she tried to explain to them during, she DID NOT WANT a shellac manicure, all she wanted was a French manicure polish, she said it in every way possible, no extensions, no fake, no acrylic, no shellac, just “regular” polish painted in a French manicure. When we went to pay I paid first, and I paid $35.00 and then she was charged $43.00. That’s crazy for a manicure so we asked about it but it was charged already, and she was upset over the bleeding and the burning, so we just left. I couldn’t imagine a regular manicure costing that much, so today, she did realize it was shellac since it won’t come off with regular nail polish remover, so she did not get what she asked for, was upset over the bleeding cuticle and in the end she had shellac, which she never wanted. I thought that I would be a return customer, but after seeing the owners attitude and response to my daughter, she never wanted shellac, maybe your staff needs to understand better. You can make this right, but I expect you won’t. Gas prices are high for all of us, but how do you tell your staff that you don’t want SHELLAC, you don’t want to pay for shellac and preferably not bleed….

WOW! I have been getting manicures for 20+ years every two weeks. Although I have had lots and lots of great manicures, this one was the most beautiful one! I walked in for a powder dip French manicure. I was waited on immediately by Leah. Her process for filing and dipping was different than any of my previous manicures which made me a little nervous but I thought I will let her do her thing. Stunning! She did such a wonderful job filing my nails. They were so smooth they looked like glass. I happened to walk in on a day where they were having a special on powder dips so the price was great. Great job Leah! I will be back.
