Massage Therapist
Clinical/Orthopedic Massage – per 15 minute unit
After a detailed assessment of dysfunction a session is created to target specific tissue. Cupping, heat, passive and active stretching, soft tissue release, positional release, myofascial release, lymph drainage, and neuro-muscular reeducation are incorporated for maximum effectiveness of a session. Each session builds on the previous one to help recover from injury and return to pain free activities of daily living. Muscle differentiation and proprioception are encouraged through touch.		$50.00
Oncology Massage
Massage specifically tailored for cancer patients. Site, pressure, and duration of massage session are adjusted to provide maximum comfort. Studies show massage can increase the effectiveness of cancer treatments, mitigate pain, and reduce chemo induced neuropathy. An additional $45 is added for at home visits.		$20.00
Wellness Massage 60 minute
A wellness massage is a typical Swedish massage using petrissage and effleurage to increase circulation.		$80.00

I am one of Jay’s clients. I came to him with generalized problems that come from where in tear and 70+ years. This professional knows exactly what he’s doing. He knows many diverse techniques and is able to determine what is going on with the patient and determine what is the Best treatment. I’ve had hip issues for probably 10 years that I never knew even how they developed. He came up with one of the main reasons. And he treated me. And after the first time of treatment on the hip and the neck, it was dramatically improved. I was shocked. He is also affable and pleasant to be around. When you schedule a treatment, you get a proper treatment without the feeling that the therapist is not giving you his best. Sadly I have been in that position where I felt a therapist was just phoning it in. That is definitely not the case. I am just ecstatic that it only took me one year to be able to find this competent massage therapist. I had to write a review to let others know.

I have had a variety of massage experiences throughout my career as an athlete and a mathlete and Velo ranks near the top. I was having some trouble with a specific muscle group and the masseuse was able to provide a great consultation, dive into the root cause of many of my low back and Psoas pains, and target specific trigger points. Very comfortable experience and already feeling results after initial visit. Highly recommend, just the therapist I was in need of.
