I purchased a groupon (One Women’s Haircut with Style) before the pandemic and was so happy to redeem once Vell Garnet was able to open. I moved to NJ recently and didn’t have a salon anymore. I’m very happy to say I do now! The groupon was very clear as far as what was included. I knew I would be charged an additional $15 for the length of my hair. I appreciate Vell Garnet being up front with their pricing. I felt comfortable with the covid protocols (temperature check, sanitizer, masks). Lorena was great! She gave me a wonderful haircut and blowout. My hair felt light and silky. I suggest trying this salon for yourself and looking on groupon for the best deals possible!

The ABSOLUTE BEST. I called Vell Garnet hair studio almost in tears explaining that another salon had botched my hair. Lorena (the owner) told me to come in even though they were about to close and she went above and beyond to fix my hair. It is so rare to find someone so knowledgeable on how to cut different kinds of hair, I will ONLY be coming here from now on. I highly recommend!

I haven’t gotten a real all around haircut for such a long time due to covid season, I guess, it’s because I don’t go out as much as before. Luckily I Googled nearest hair salon to where I lived and this salon came up. Since it was so close to where I work. I figure I’ll give them a chance. It’s very hard to find a hair salon because fairing they might ruin my hair. It’s in a small shopping center on route 53. The parking lot isn’t very appealing but once you step inside the shop , it’s a whole new atmosphere. The store is the last one in the lot. I notice that it is a small store with a few chairs. I like it, it feels homey. The owner name, Lorena , is very nice and kind and understanding of how I wanted my hair cut itself. I have long hair, almost down to my back so it was good to get it shampoo and conditioner and cut and style by someone else, haha. After the haircut experience my hair feels so much lighter and healthier and nicer.. after that haircut, I know where I’m getting my hair cut next year.

While not a big deal to some , I have had my hair DESTROYED by inexperienced people in the past so I was really concerned what to expect . The salon is small and somewhat hidden if your not looking for it , However the service I received I can not say enough about . The salon is a cute 3 seater so there is never over crowding and you are always the focus of attention 🙂 Lorena and her husband are amazing people , great conversation , personable , friendly but most of all EXPERIENCED !! When I left I couldn’t get over how amazing my hair looked , I NEVER allow anyone to cut my hair first visit – Lorena not only designed a beautiful color but the perfect cut . While not a big deal to some , I have had my hair DESTROYED by inexperienced people in the past so I was really concerned what to expect . The service at this salon was nothing short of amazing. I am 9 months pregnant and when I walked in, they were using chemicals that are harmful to breathe in while pregnant- they asked me to sit in my car for a few and they aired out the whole salon before I was serviced. I thought that was so thoughtful. Brittany was wonderful, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend rather then sitting in a salon bored for a few hours and I loved that because I dread getting my hair done. She is new to this salon but she is definitely an asset! I will definitely be back!
