I’ve been a regular at Velarde since the day I discovered this salon several years ago. Every aspect of their service, including the interior decor and professionalism, has me completely enthralled. My first service here was for nails, and I can honestly say that they have one of the best nail designs I’ve ever seen. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to try almost all of their services, including facials, waxing, hair coloring, and massages! Furthermore, as previously stated, the atmosphere is calming and serene. Every member of the team is courteous, professional, and productive. Yesterday, I had my hair done here in Velarde, and the result was, as is always the case, very unique and beautiful. I am very pleased with my new look. I don’t mind paying the price because it is completely reasonable and well worth the money. I always recommend this salon to my friends and family because I believe they are deserving of such a wonderful experience

I’m really disappointed in this place. It was my first time at the salon and I was scheduled for a 4pm dipped manicure today, July 12th. I got to the salon 5 minutes early and patiently waited for my appointment. I figured while I wait, I should read the reviews. I was really excited to see the reviews were great and I was super psyched to get my nails done. Especially being a mother of two, I really don’t get opportunities to pamper myself. To my disappointment, I walked out of the salon at 4:25pm with no service done. I waited 30 minutes and most likely would have waited longer. The receptionist at the front desk was friendly and kindly said she would check with the nail tech, but I had enough time to get my nails done and pick up one kid from camp and the other from daycare. I wish they just rescheduled me, I wouldn’t of minded. I’m really easy going and understand there’s delays. Even a call after I walked out would have been appreciated, but I guess they don’t need new business!? Either way, the salon looked nice and clean. Too bad it didn’t work out.

First time visiting Velarde was amazing, Michelle V. was my stylist and she took the time to listen what I wanted done with my hair and made me feel very welcomed, like I had been coming there for years. Very clean modern salon! A must go to for any of your beauty needs, they do it all!

This location is super cute! Staff is super friendly! I made an appointment to get my nails done (DIP), with no issues at all (and they were busy)! Nails came out perfect ~ Thanks Mel! This is definitely a place worth checking out! I’ll be back for sure 🙂
