Trinity is so patient and gentle with my nails. It was my first time and I had really think gel polish on that she had to remove. Shannon Omdahl is amazing! I went in to have a previous cut/color that I was unhappy with fixed. She listened closely to my wants and asked questions back to be sure she understood what I was looking for. I have a cochlear implant and she communicated clearly and effectively so that I understood her while my implant was off. I am so impressed and so happy with my new hair. She made it better than I thought possible and I will be going back to her and highly reccomend you do as well. Thank you so much Shannon!

Today I went to get my hair colored for the first time in two years. I asked for a rich brown. We went with a demi color because I have a lot of grays. I ended up with a really dark brown that was almost black and color all around my face. I didn’t notice the color staining until I was nearly home because of the blowout so I had to turn around and go all the way back because the staining was severe. My colorist tried to say it was baby hairs but seriously, I looked like Eddie Munster. In haste, Color was flung onto my skirt as well so it’s now stained too. I was referred here by someone with excellent hair. I thought surely if I opted for a Level 6 colorist I couldn’t go wrong. It’s $140 for a single color with no cut. I was wrong. My hair is ok, but with a Level 6 stylist I expected to have a finished look. Telling me to apply lotion before I come next time because that color shouldn’t have stained didn’t make it better. I will say, to end on a positive note, Shannon was nice to me so that refutes prior reviews I have seen about her.

The stylist did not listen to my instructions on how I wanted my hair cut. She rushed through the cut and butchered my hair. It was 4 inches too short with long straggly ends that I had to have also cut off to help it look somewhat better. Watch out for stylist s who don’t show you the back of your hair when they are done. I hate my haircut. Why would I trust anyone there. They offered to cut it more to fix it. Bad idea. A refund doesn’t even make it better.

Finally! People that know how to do hair in a very pleasant environment with nice touches like hot tea and adult beverages on offer. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Lots of quality products on offer. I had three bad hair do’s in three years in three other salons before coming here. Thanks to Nina, my hair is finally coming back into it’s glory! They also offer mani’s and pedi’s too.

For one, great vibe in the salon, friendly faces greeting you and offering a beverage, which helped put me at ease being my first time going to Veda. Two, the hair wash, SO relaxing. And last but not least, Macie did a PHENOMENAL job with the cut. Showed her what I wanted and BAM walked out with it! My mom called to make a new appointment/new to Colorado Springs. She made an appointment with the Aveda on N Academy Blvd and was then told she needed to give a 50% deposit that will be held in “an account” and the balance to be paid at her appointment. My mom was told by Sadie that this is for new customers only. I find this policy rude and degrading. Needless to say, my mom immediately cancelled the appointment. If you’re thinking of going here as a new customer, be prepared to “pay 50% up front”!
