Critical: Professionalism, QualityThis was my first and last time at this salon. They are not professional in here. When I made the appointment I specifically asked the manager if they specialized working with natural curly 4c hair. She claimed they did so I put my trust in them to straighten and put highlights in my hair. Mind you I never have dyed my hair before. So my hair is naturally dark and the stylist showed me a color that I had in mind and I agreed to it because it was perfect. She proceeded to make the color and just paint it on my hair and have me sit there for about 30 minutes. No foil no bleaching my hair before hand, no sort of coverage . Like I said I never dyed my hair before so I didn’t question her technique cuz I’m not the professional. She washed my hair after the time and the color did not appear in my hair at all. I was very disappointed to the point of crying. I do not recommend coming to this salon. I had a terrible experience. They straightened it but styled it in a way I looked like an old woman. I did not appreciate how they handled my natural hair at all. My mom came to this salon before and had a terrible experience which I didn’t know until after I got my hair done. I do NOT recommend this salon at all. Lack of professionalism…. it took 4.5 hours to color and cut… she put color in my daughters hair and it wasnt the color she thought it would be but before asking my if I (the parent) wanted to try another color she put it in . Then charged me for putting in a color I didn’t ask her to put in . I explain to her my issue isn’t the extra color its the fact that you didn’t ask my. Her excuse was you weren’t here…to ask i said I was literally in front in my car not to mention she has my phone number and texted before…. maybe if she wasn’t busy at Starbucks and hanging out in the back forever she could have done it before 4.5 hours past. . Not coming back here….

Before and After!! It was my first time at Vasuda Salon at Kent Location! I have been looking for a salon to give some love to my curls! I went today to Vasuda and was seen by Shavonne! I just loved this place, I felt at home since I came in. They have a team player strong game. They absolutely met my expectations with my amazing Haircut and Toner. I love the fact that they all work together and they want the best for each other’s clients and they are also willing to learn and faithful to the clients expectations! My curls are popping full of volume and is exactly what I wanted!!

I’m very satisfied with the results of the chocolate keratin treatment I got. It did cost a pretty penny but I think it is worth it because compared to 3 other keratin treatments I’ve done, this one was the best I’ve gotten so far. I think it has to do with the brand they use. Also, the stylists there are very knowledgeable, careful and detailed with styling hair.
