This salon is my new favorite! It’s located at Runway Playa Vista which is a beautiful shopping center that conveniently has a parking structure and Whole Foods and a lot of places to eat. Jessie did a great job on my Dip Powder Nails with Extension in Almond Shape. Her attention to detail was incredible. The salon was clean and the service was great. I look forward to coming back!

I paid $120 to get gel manicure, pedicure and didn’t even last for 10 days. I was surprised when they told me the cost half way through doing my nails. The girl that was doing my nails, she had extra long nails and long hair with black dip and blond tips. she was threading me like no body sitting front of her. She didn’t say hi, didn’t even make eye contact with me. When I choose my nail color she made weird face like she found that basic. The whole time was extremely awkward. I will never go there again.

Last week I was excited because of the reviews n ratings and I only had a few hours layover for my international trip. Mimi insisted I needed a new set so my nail wouldn’t be thick etc which they weren’t. Ive been wearing chrome colors for a year now and ALWAYS get compliments on my nails even from guys. After the new set, and 2 coats of base color then Mimi says ‘$20 extra and $50 new set’! My usual salon doesn’t charge extra so I wasn’t expecting additional cost however the fact that she waits til after the 2nd coat to tell ‘$20 extra’ got me annoyed. They should tell us this when we choose the colors not after that’s ‘DECEIVING’. At first my nails were looking good but then she kept removing the color then repainting again. Then the same with the chrome glitter. 2HRS later (just for my nails), even the other staff apologized and asked if I could stay longer or come back tomorrow. I’m so ashamed of my nails and I’m traveling to Australia. They are thick, lumpy and go up onto the cuticle!! I’m terrible with putting my own colors on but I certainly know u would’ve known when to stop it’s not right! Then to my surprise they tell me it’s $95 but will not charge me the chrome $20!!!! I told them is is not a $95 or $75 job!! So I ended up still having to pay for the new set and nail removal $55 even for 2hrs if terrible service which they agreed to! Because I couldn’t stay longer or go back the next day they offered me $15% off on another service lol! $$ is more important than the client here. For some reason I can’t paste to add the photos. I’ve added the last photo, nails after only 1 1/2 weeks. Chrome has been peeling after only 9days on all

Every time I come here there’s a different result, and none are very good. I’ve been coming here for about a year and switching around nail techs since my favorite guy left a few months ago, and it’s been disappointing to say the least. Similarly to others experiences, I have left the salon bleeding multiple times, with lumpy polish, received rushed manicures because they “had another appointment booked” (mind you I also booked my appointment and came on time!), with my designs all messed up, broken nails within days, had awful front desk service, and had a 30 min manicure turn into a 3 hour ordeal because they promised they could do a design or technique that they clearly could not execute. Wow. Just so so so disappointing honestly. And I’m convinced that they charge me too much, because every time I end up paying $180-$200 for a gel mani pedi with acrylic powder (NOT including tip). It’s actually absurd. And the prices change daily, and depending on the customer. It’s all very “scam-ish.”I’m going to try and find a new place because the service here is just awful and without my favorite nail tech here anymore there’s really no point in trying to make it work. ):

First time trying Varnish after a friend recommended. Got a gel mani and regular pedi. 96 with tip. Nice place but only a few matching polishes and the ones that were “matching” were off in shade. Way too expensive for the quality of work. My nails look like it’s been 2 weeks but it’s been 5 days. Also lumpy paint job. Won’t be returning. 3 stars for the complimentary champagne and comfortable pedicure chairs.

Look at those wonderful nails done by Tommy Olalala. Such a relief to find someone who really knows about nails and listens. I have sensitive thin nails and he was so awesome. My nails didn’t hurt not one time. Tommy is truly Olalalala!!!! Vivid did my toes and she was good as well.
