This place was amazing. The whole experience was quite therapeutic. I had the pleasure of getting my hair cut by the one and only Mr. Vanzant. He was extremely friendly as was the rest of his staff while his facility was very clean. He then proceeded to cut my hair and beard like an artist, leaving me with the best salon experience I had ever had. I can’t find anyone of his expertise in Austin, TX and told him that he needed to branch out of course. I’d give this place 10 stars if I could.

I’ve been to multiple barbers in the 6 plus years of living in Mississippi. Many of which haven’t made me feel very welcome unfortunately. My initial thought walking in was “Wow” simply looking around stations tidy, clean, intsruments and utensils displayed in an orderly fashion. I was already impressed, then the realization smacked me that Steven Vanzant was ear to ear grinning and welcoming me in made me feel at home and at ease. Did I mention I brought in my 11 month old daughter? When she fussed Steven would make her laugh along with the other barbers I felt like family they had eased my child my mind and proceeded to work. The detail, time and care that went into transforming my mop of a head into a more stylish and professional appearance was spot on. My wife had dropped her jaw. I couldn’t be any more appreciative of Vanzant Barber Lounge. Being courteous, professional, detail oriented and giving sense of familiarity to clients is what I personally feel makes the best barbers. Hands down with all the love in my heart these guys are the best! 100/10

I just moved here and was looking for a new place to get a haircut. Vanzant was at the top of my google search and their already 5 star rating had me intrigued. The reviews match their performance. When I first walked in I felt welcomed by their professionalism. I highly recommend this place for any type of cut. Any barber there will get you done with exactly what you want. Steve hooked me up with the cut I’ve been looking for awhile now and I appreciate his skill set. Definitely try this place out and you won’t be disappointed.
