This was my first visit to a real “barber” in probably 15 years. Master barber Hugh Vann invited me into his chair and I can honestly say that the experience was exceptional. Not only did I receive a great hair cut, but the friendliness of the entire staff and other customers was amazing. When I returned home my wife was really pleased and commented that my hair cut was the best in a long, long time. Not only have I found a new ” hair cut home” I feel that I also have made some new friends.

Was a good place when I first started but haircuts started going downhill and they do not take debt cards. Very old fashioned if you ask me. All things considered if your are the cash carrying type of person and can deal with haircuts done what they think looks the best and not what you want then this is your place.

Critical: Quality, ValueI went to the BARBER shop because I was expecting a barber to cut my hair. Instead I saw a barber cutting the gentleman’s hair right next to me, while I got the older lady. They wouldn’t take an appointment so I got stuck with her as my only option. She did not listen to ANY of my instructions and took it upon herself to decide what she thought my hair should look like. She took the easy route and just shaved my whole head after I had explained that that was not what I wanted. I went to the BARBER shop because I was expecting a barber to cut my hair. Instead I saw a barber cutting the gentleman’s hair right next to me, while I got the older lady. They wouldn’t take an appointment so I got stuck with her as my only option. She did not listen to ANY of my instructions and took it upon herself to decide what she thought my hair should look like. Critical: Professionalism, QualityDefinitely will steer clear of this place in the future.Simple buzz cut/fade was not so simple.Kinda felt like she wasn’t a big fan of non locals. Talked about how they tried to keep the area their best kept secret then covid hit and everyone moved down here etc. Asked me if my barber back home was black or white?!
