She was incredibly polite, charming and she made sure to explain the entire process to me as she was going through the steps so that I knew exactly what she was doing and why. Her attention to detail is and has always been remarkable and her ability to take the idea I had in my mind and transform it into a reality is the true work of a skilled stylist. I have very curly 3c/4a hair and she’s always so gentle when combing and styling it and the scalp massage is to die for! Just moved to Pennsylvania, so it was difficult to find a good hair salon. Vanity Studio and Salon has caught my attention based on reviews so I took my daughter for a wash, cut and blowout. I’ve been seeing Carolynn for years and I can’t imagine going to another salon. She is always timely, professional, and extremely accommodating. She has done everything for me from trims to fixing botched at-home dye jobs. She creates an environment where I feel secure in asking questions and I leave looking better than I could’ve imagined. She gives me great advice, shows me how to use products, and takes her time doing a thorough job. It’s clear that she not only knows what she’s doing, but takes great care in doing it. When I was on my way to this salon I was very nervous. I had never had a balayage before, but my hairstylist Cara made my experience unforgettable. She was very enthusiastic, comforting, amiable and passionate. She was very empathetic to me and addressed all my concerns in a loving way. She dyed my hair with impeccable skill. It seemed as thought my hair was glistening as I walked outside into the sunlight. I felt like a brand new person. Confidence exuded throughout my body. When I got home even my husband didn’t recognize me. He said he’d never seen hair so luscious and vibrant. I can not wait to book with her again. Book with Cara now to feel like a brand new woman!!!
