I have been struggling with a periodic rash for the past two years. After avoiding medical attention for a long time, I finally decided to remedy my condition. Through a referral, I saw a dermatologist, Dr. Ben Reinhardt, at Vanguard Dermatology. My experience there, was gratifying. I received excellent medical attention and felt relieved, after learning the possible diagnoses. As I was previously clueless, as to how my condition happened or what it was. After a couple of visits, it was determined what the cause was and how it came to be, I was finally able to feel relief, both physically and mentally. I am happy to inform, that I am doin well and my condition has since, got much better. Overall, my experience at Vanguard Dermatology, has been pleasant and satisfactory. I am looking forward to continuing my treatment and looking to Dr. Benjamin Reinhardt, if my condition has worsened or for anything else that would require his expertise.

I didn’t even see the doctor until an hour and a half after my scheduled appointment and for the time and attention he took with me I’m not sure why he was running behind schedule. He removed a mole that had been giving me trouble and as he injected the area to numb it (without warning) I winced and said, “ow” to which he responded, “it doesn’t hurt.” Really sensitive guy with great bedside manner. After he was done he didn’t give any care instructions and I didn’t think to ask at that moment because I was nervous about the removal process. Staff is cordial at best but seem bothered to even be there.

I go to the Broadway location in Manhattan, although my appointment was a little late in the evening (8pm) I arrived at 7:30pm and was seen right away. Dr. Shapiro was quick and very friendly. I would highly recommend this place.

I originally came here for acne concerns around February of this year and was seeing doctor Kaveri (Who is no longer with the practice). She was awesome and I’m so sad she’s left, I was switch to doctor Shapiro and can relate to all the other reviews on the wait time.

I was referred to this place, and although the doctors here are professional, the waiting times are insane. Add up additional 60-90 mins to your original appointment time. The supporting staff just chills around reception area, chatting. Won’t be coming back.
