Soooo my natural curls are no longer tight the way it use to be. I don’t know what they use in their products but my curl pattern is loose now. Whatever you use in your product, check to see if people want that in their hair first. I have always been to the same Dominican salon for years with no problem and my curls were the same after a blow out. However this one is different and my natural curls aren’t natural anymore.

Went there to get a wash and set. I had natural hair that I had been growing for years now. When I washed my hair at home I noticed a change in my texture. Couple months later my hair has been shedding like crazy horribly split due to some chemical they put in the conditioner. I believe relaxer. It’s so frustrating because now I have to do a big chop. Stay away from this place.

I had my first ever silk press on my 4c natural hair 3 weeks ago and my hair is completely heat damaged. I have 4 years worth of natural hair growth. My hair has a burnt smell, after so many washes I can’t get rid of it. All I requested was a wash and press and I’m experiencing breakage. My curls are gone and my hair is limp. Never ever again. It’s not worth the damage. I will never get my curls back unless I cut my hair off.

Wow!!!! I am amazed at how my first time coming here, how quickly they were able to completely ruin my natural hair. My curls are GONE. I am devastated. Most of my hair is bone straight and still smells like this salon and I came here in December of 2021…it’s February 2022. Either they fried my hair or there IS IN FACT relaxer in that conditioner. Excessive shedding, breakage, thinning…and no more curl pattern. Yep, they use a relaxer. So here’s your warning..don’t go here. Ever. Even last minute. Girl, just rock your afro. Trust me.

The lady that shampooed my hair is kind and showed me the ingredients in the conditioner used. My hair was soft, shiny and moisturized. Vanessa , the owner, did my hair at a different salon in Norfolk years ago and she is an honest woman. I have natural hair and wear it curly 50% of the time. My curls are never damaged after I wash it. I HIGHLY recommend this salon!
