I always leave her chair feeling confident about my hair! My last visit with Vanessa, I consulted with her about doing a rose gold toner (pink). I have never done a color like this before. Vanessa gives honest opinions, which is one of her qualities I value the most! So…we discussed, I took her tips and advice and then.. we did it!! Positive: QualityIn desperate need of a hair cut and color, I found Vanessa on a local FB page offering her services. She promoted her services through her own website in such a professional and stylish way, she definitely had an eye for detail, which is what sold me on booking with her.I arrived at the salon, which was upscale, clean, trendy, and buzzing with energy. I was a bit late due to local traffic in Boston and called to let them know and as it was my first time being I was stressing out about it, but the front desk staff couldn’t be nicer about it and got me settled in, offering refreshments while I waited for Vanessa to get me.Vanessa brought me back to the color treatment area and could not be friendlier! I explained overall what I was looking for, but insisted, that I was her canvas and she could do what she thought would look best. She walked me through what she thought. color-wise and cut, making sure we were on the same page before she began. She provided a very relaxing fun atmosphere while she worked and the team came and checked on me while I was processing. She asked if she could take pictures and curl my hair, which.. who would say no to that!Once finished, I could not be happier with what I got. It’s a little shorter than I would have asked for myself, BUT I am so glad, because it shapes my face so much better than my previous cut. The color is absolutely PERFECT. No streaks and looks completely natural and compliments my skin tone so nicely. I am about a month out from my appointment and continue to get so many compliments on my hair.Overall, I look forward to going back to Vanessa for future services and would (and have) recommend her to friends and anyone looking for a 5-star hair stylist, colorist and salon!
