I mean, look at the pictures and you tell me whether it looks like my inspiration pic (last three), or whether it even looks good. Also go ahead and imagine spending $240 after tip these days for your senior stylist to slap on some color, have you under a heater and not even take a look at your hair color to approve of the assistant taking you out and finishing you off. Not even stopping by said assistants chair as she’s drying it to see how it’s turning out let alone ask me if I’m happy with it at the end. Nowhere to be found honestly. Sad that I’ve been a VM customer for the better part of a decade, have been to every location but this one, yet this is the kind of unreliable service I get. It’s been hard finding another salon since moving to the suburbs and there’s a huge difference between this salon and the other VM ones in Atlanta. Not everyone has time or energy to have to embarrassingly crawl back and complain to get you to fix my hair.

The ladies was nice but they put someone new on my child head but didn’t no she had that much hair but she ended up doing a wonderful job her and another person they worked it I would go back because the lady who was trying to do it really didn’t have much time we thought because we had a show to do but the ladies did a very good job and they stayed very professional and gave my daughter what she wanted I would send someone there them ladies work hard and had us laughing the beginning was a little overwhelmed but we all worked it as a team I Thank all them ladies

Critical: ProfessionalismI go to Van michael for many years. Today I was 7 min late for my appointment, because there was a truck in the parking lot unloading shipment and blocked the road for 10 min. I called Van Michael and let them know that i am in the parking lot and will be there shortly. But when I went inside they told me you don’t have an appointment today. I showed them my confirmation on the phone. They said their system was down and they sat down another customer in the chair for 11 o’clock because I was 7 min late!!! The front desk lady said they might be able to squeeze me in for just a single process hair color today with a lower level color artist and have to come back for my highlight another day! I told them it is my husband’s birthday tonight and we are going to have friends over, I need to have a full service as is booked. Instead the lady said we are trying to help you as much as we could and that’s all we can do at this time!The manager who was on the phone with the staff did not offer anything more. She only called later and said “sorry we messed up, they deleted your appointment by mistake, it took sometime for me to find out what has happened. We can reschedule you for another time!”I referred family and friends to this salon over the years and this is how they treated me today on such a big day for me and my family! I am extremely disappointed as the management and staff today had absolutely no idea how to handle the situation. I go to Van michael for many years. Today I was 7 min late for my appointment, because there was a truck in the parking lot unloading shipment and blocked the road for 10 min. I must say that the cut was totally on point. The issue here is the customer service and the coordinators attitude or lack of attitude. For the cost, that support should be the “wow” factor and at this location it is not. They never own their mistakes or try to support fixing them. Sad to say but after the many many years of loyalty to the brand, enough is enough. I know I’m only one but this one was actually three.

Rihanna was my stylist. It was my first time at the salon. I was nervous reading her reviews. Some were wonderful but one was very negative. I assure you that she is wonderful. She spent time talking with me, was warm and comforting for my first time jitters and gave me one of the best haircuts I’ve ever had.

I am very disappointed. My before and after pictures look the same. No difference in color. I Normally don’t leave reviews but after being ask multiple time what did I actually have done to my hair (no change). I feel I a review is needed. Honestly, nothing changed in my hair color. Seems I just gave my money away. I was told to go back in 8 weeks to try to get it lighter. To me, that just means giving away more money. The effort should have been more up front. From what I was told my hair couldn’t get “white “ but could get blonde. My hair is still blown with some light brown highlights. I was going for Ombré. My hair is not remotely close to what I was paying for.

I had an appointment with Sierra last week. I thought she did a good job cutting my hair. She gave me pretty much the style that I was trying to describe to her. After about a week of wearing my new haircut and getting accustomed to it, I rate it a great haircut! Highly recommended.

I recently had my hair colored at another salon, which turned out to be a disaster!! I was recommended by a friend to see Claire to see if she could get my hair back to a normal color. She was very sweet, personable, professional and she is well educated in color theory. I spend 8 total hours in the other salon and walked out with ash tips and black roots…I don’t even think I spent two hours with Claire and I can finally wear my hair down again. The entire staff is friendly and every kept an upbeat positive energy around the salon. I will definitely be going back for everything.
