Hello my name’s Vanessa, I’ve been a hairdresser since 2015 – I’ve always dreamed of being a hairdresser since a young age. I strive to be the best and am always educating myself to keep up with the latest trends. My main goal is to make people feel good about themselves and to feel beautiful. I absolutely love this place and the owner, Vanessa! I’ve been coming to her for a few years now, and wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else. I’m nearing 40 (ahhh) and have gone to fancy schmancy salons since I was 12. When I first came to her, I thought that she looked “too young” and I assumed she was inexperienced. Like most times when you judge something by first impression, I was way wrong! She delivered the best color, cut and style I had in my life! My hair is deceivingly difficult to control and I have a lot of it…. Vanessa is without a doubt the first stylist to actually listen AND have the skill to provide exactly what I want, without fail, every time. Even during times where I’ve found out after the fact that she was going through some catastrophic life altering personal issues where most people wouldn’t be able to even get out of bed, she was on the job with a smile on her face, never even hinting at her struggles, and still performing a notch above everyone else. She is truly a strong woman and on top of that, she is knowledgeable of hair products and techniques. You can tell she takes pride in her business and customers, is always striving to improve her craft while still having a personality that is appealing to everyone. I’m not exactly a social butterfly, but she is always easy to talk to, or on days where I don’t want to talk and just need quiet, she understands. She is never judgmental, and she just makes you feel at ease. After all, your hair stylist IS somewhat of a therapist! You won’t regret a visit with her!
