WORST salon experience of my life!!!!! I went for a pretty standard service – highlights and a haircut – and came out with BLACK hair and a burned scalp. My scalp was literally on fire from harsh chemicals being used and left on on my scalp for too long. My hair looks awful and after spending over $1,000 ($500 for the highlights, $325 for haircut + tips) I’m left with a disaster that needs to be corrected and a burned scalp. I’m in utter disbelief that a “high-end” salon could do this. The stylist I used, Nicole, seemed to only be able to handle blonde hair color, and any variation from that is impossible and turns into a disaster. I don’t write reviews very often, but felt compelled given my HORRENDOUS experience.

Incredible cuts and color. Incredible blowouts. Incredible everything. Very efficient, too. Also, I can’t even count the amount of times I have been there and I always get fit into the schedule. I personally have not experienced the poor customer service that a couple of the other reviews have alluded to. This place has the best customer service I have ever seen. Blowbars are a dime a dozen these days, but if you want a reliably classy and stylish result – this is where to go. Pricey, but worth it.

Incredible service, I always manage to get squeezed into the schedule (even without an appointment!) Nice amenities include drinks/coffee, free wifi, private changing area, and leg rests on the reclining sink chairs. Nicole is the best colorist, I love her painting technique for my highlights and always get compliments! All the stylists are fab, I especially like Nir. Highly recommended for Upper East Side salon experience.
