“Wow” is all I could say when Ms.Laura turned the chair around for me to face the mirror. I am absolutely pleased with my haircut. I had been wanting a pixie cut for years because my long hair was so unflattering but I was afraid I would look ridiculous with short hair (funny thing is looking at the pictures, I look more ridiculous with the long hair). My husband found Valdez shop online , a women owned and operated barbershop, and I thought they probably know what they’re doing so I can trust them. I am SO glad I took the leap of faith and came to see Ms. Laura for the 1st time ever. She was happy to do the cut so long I was ready for the drastic change that I was about to experience. I’ll be honest, I was skeptical. Not in her skill, but that I would look good at all but wow was I wrong. Ms.Laura took inspiration from a few photos I showed her of what I wanted and she made the haircut suitable to my face and hair type. Now all I can say is “why did I wait so long?!” Thank you Laura and Valdez team for an amazing experience and the support and encouragement in chopping off all my hair. As women, our identity tends to be wrapped up in our hair and I’m glad the team was respectful of my decision and did an excellent job in providing extraordinary results.
