I don’t even get my nails done that often anymore and thought that I’d treat me and my daughters to some self care. It was a Saturday, early afternoon and the man at the front desk said that it would only be about 15 min. Even though we all sat down ‘together’, both of my daughters had multiple nail techs sit then get up and leave them. Then they moved one of my daughters next to me who eventually started to cry because she felt like they didn’t want her there. Not only that but the tech that was working on me was so rough I had to ask her to please be careful after she nicked my cuticle. On top of that she overall seemed upset that she was at work at all, honestly, it was the weirdest manicure I’ve ever gotten in my 35 years. I wish they had said that the wait was longer and just let me go somewhere else since they obviously didn’t have time or want us there. Shocked, I even paid for that actually.

Critical: QualityY’all. I usually love this place, but this time around I was severely let down. I got my nails done four or five days ago before I went back to college. My set was beautiful, but the craftsmanship and quality proved to be incredibly poor. Not even one day after I got them done, my nails started snapping in half amid the mildest activities. This has continued for the past few days. My nails break the second I open anything, no matter how simple or gentle I’m being. Y’all. I usually love this place, but this time around I was severely let down. I got my nails done four or five days ago before I went back to college. My set was beautiful, but the craftsmanship and quality proved to be incredibly poor. Not even one day after I got them done, my nails started snapping in half amid the mildest activities. This has continued for the past few days. My nails break the second I open anything, no matter how simple or gentle I’m being. In September during a pedicure my leg was severely chemically burnt. Once they had applied the lotion, one of my legs was on fire. I told the woman doing my nails and nothing was done. The second i turned around I grabbed a wash cloth and began wiping the lotion off my legs only to be shocked by completely brown and discolored skin on the back of my leg. Multiple doctors have been seen to heal the burn. The most the salon offered was for me to come and have the wound cleaned by the same woman with hot towels. My leg is still healing and it has taken months to repair the burnt skin.

I’ve been going to this nail salon since they opened the Gainesville location. Karen, who’s the one that has been doing my nails, decided to speak to me rudely not once but twice. First because I ran a few minutes late for an appointment, then because of her tips. There was no way I could take that – they just lost a customer!! I found myself a much better nail salon!!

My daughter and I regularly go get pedicures together. I took a friend yesterday and we had a wonderful experience. We each chose the VIP pedicure and were given about an hour’s worth of pampering. Connie and Lilly took very good care of us and we both left happy. I highly recommend them. We’ve never had a bad experience with any of employees at this business in four years!
