The only other time I’ve been loyal to one haircut place was in high school when my mom would cut my hair for free. This place is professional yet friendly, they use sound technique (best fade I’ve ever gotten), and are truly attentive to how you want to cut/style your hair. They’re consistent too, after having visited multiple times. Even though it’s not a free haircut from my mom anymore, I will be returning here now whenever I need a fresh cut. (Haircut was from Angie.)

I moved to NJ from NY 3 years ago, and of course one of my concerns was finding a new barber. I look up a few places on Yelp and V.Sosa Grooming bar had the highest reviews, so I figured I’ll start there. My wife wished me luck, and I took a deep breath and headed over to check them out. I actually drove by to scope out the shop and then circled back around. As many of you know, finding a new barber takes both courage and luck. So I found the courage to go in, and hopes for the luck part. Only two barbers were working that day, and both were booked at that time. One of the appointments hadn’t shown up yet, and was told to just stick around for a few. After about 15 minutes, the person still hadn’t shown, so I was called over. Turns out the barber (Julio), that hooked me up is one of the owners. Well, Its been 3 years and I haven’t gotten my hair cut by anyone else ever since! Glad I got lucky and didn’t have to keep looking for a new barber. I’ve been to both the Montclair and Dover locations and can honestly say that all of their barbers are top notch!
