Walk-ins are truly welcomed. Everyone is always so nice. They are also gentle, I’ve had manicures and pedicures in the past at other salons that have been aggressive, but at V Nails you feel pampered and relaxed when you’re done. Most importantly, their work is fabulous! My gel manicures last 3-4 weeks and look great!

I’m so happy that a friend brought me to this place – Lee did the BEST job. My nails are perfectly shaped, cuticles perfect, gel polish perfect. I just had a manicure with Anna. It was amazing! I felt like she cared about my nails & wanted to help me get them healthy after some not so great gel manicures. They got me in at the end of a busy day & were gracious. Everyone working there seemed happy & sweet. I’m so glad I found this place in my new neighborhood! Thank you Anna!

THEE BEST place to get your nails done! Ann does a great job at getting to know everyone who comes into her salon. All of the technicians are so kind and great! Always busy so recommend making an appointment. Cute and cozy salon!

They didn’t want To refund me so I asked him to just take it off and they’re like well that’s gonna be another 45 minutes for us to do that then. First time here. The place was really busy so hopping everyone was cheerful and in great spirits. I was in on time, manicure done nicely and with no problems. I would recommend. Call ahead walks ins welcome but might be hard to get in.

First of all, the place is dirty. I was surprised that they do not use basin liners for the pedicures, but was willing to over look it. We had appointments and still felt like they rushed us. My daughter and I were to have mani pedi’s together and when she arrived ahead of me they put her in a chair and started her pedi so she was quite a bit ahead of me with both pedi and mani. I am still willing to over look this as well, though disappointing. I had Mary and she was not very friendly in her communication style. Someone else had the basket of gel colors so by the time I received it, she rushed me to pick a color. When I told her that I only wanted my toenails shaped with a file because I had recently cut them myself, she rolled her eyes at me and started clipping them. I had to stop her and tell her again that I only wanted them filed. So now my big toe nails do not match and she cut one at an angle on the inside. 🙁 I was concerned about getting gels on my fingernails because I had so many back to back powder manicures over the winter and they were still growing out and recovering from my last manicure in April (which I had professionally removed and told her this) She convinced me that a gel manicure would help them grow out healthy and continued to scold me about peeling off the powder and I reminded her that I did not do that. I told her that I would like them shaped “Squoval” which is what I’ve always been told to ask for and she did them round. When I corrected her, Mary snapped at me that I needed to tell her “more flat or more round”. At this point I was not enjoying my manicure with her at all. Then she told me about getting a punch card for 4 services to save up for a discount. I paid with a credit card, had to pay an extra dollar for processing and was told you don’t get the punch card if you pay with credit card, only cash. That is a ridiculous policy. In the end, I wanted to get a picture of the name of my color choice and she held up the bottle number. As I explained that I wanted to get a picture of the name she argued with me that I only need the number. It should have been a great relaxing experience with my daughter and Mary put me on the defensive and ruined it. On the plus side. My daughter had a wonderful experience and got a beautiful manicure. I will not be returning to V Nails Hopkins.
