I was blown away by the attention to detail that was provided to me by my wonderfully talented nail technician!

My coworker recommended this place to me since I hadn’t tried any of the salons in town yet and I have to say I am very happy with my experience, not the exact shape I wanted but I will totally be going back.

Suggested by a coworker this place is amazing! The job done on the gel nails seemed a little off that’s why it got four stars but it was very inexpensive and the people were friendly.

I made an appointment and got in 15 minutes early. Always good… my technician was swift and thourgh. I have no complaints. Except its cash only… no debit cards but there is an ATM in Food Lion next door.

Got my very first set of SNS nails at VN and I love them! The manicurist was super nice and did an awesome job. Believe me when I tell you these nails are tough. I wash hands a lot and do a lot of typing at work. No chips. Still glossy and going strong. Highly recommend VN Nails!

I was highly disappointed. I went for the first time, I usually go to La Vie Nail in hickory and I was reminded today of why I go there. When I first walked in the rushed me into picking a color, I didn’t even have a minute to even look and pick one, so that was strike 1. The First Lady I had used the Dremel and pressed so hard it ripped a layer of my nail off and even though I said ouch that hurts she insisted that it was supposed to happen. Strike 2. Then the First Lady I had switched and I had a second lady, and the second lady even though she was more gentle, she was so busy chit chatting with one of her friends that walked in that she wasn’t even paying attention to my nails. She would stop mid filing and go look at pictures on her friends phone, she never once spoke to me or gave any attention to my nails. She rushed to get them done so she could continue to socialize. I will absolutely never be back to this establishment. Quite possibly the worst nail place experience I have ever had. If I’m paying $55 for SNS dip powder I expect to have full attention of the nail tech so my nails look good. Absolutely horrible.

The only thing they did right was the shape. They charged $15 extra for gel polish. The next day, the polish was chipped. In 48 hours, I had several nails with peeling/chipped polish. The reason I use gel is because it is harder and lasts better than all the others. I’m so frustrated with this manicure. Gel manicures

Sorry but don’t waste your time & money. First time as a customer today, last time as a customer today. The man that did my pedi was rough and harsh, I’ve never had such a painful pedi, 3 of the toes bled in the corners, he wiped them with the alcohol swab and kept going after I told him it was painful. Two nails are cut plum sideways, I get pedi’s monthly and due to schedule changes had to get in fast somewhere, lesson learned not to just call anywhere. And they didn’t apply a topcoat, even after I asked why no one put on a topcoat. I just decided all was lost and deal with it and don’t go back. $40 gone and I’m home to fix the crooked toenails and put a clear coat on myself.
