Ok I think I am over this place. Typically love my Asian salons as they do the best pedis and art work. I have been coming here since I moved to Salida. Always make an appointment and try to get the first one of the day. They charge me for full rate and half the time I don’t get the full service. Today I didn’t get the bath crystals. Tina started me, but then a regular client came (not sure what they consider me)she was LATE…..Tina stopped my services to start this lady and Tony stepped in. He did not pick up where she left off. I had to tell him he needed to finish. Then he was allowing my toes to touch as he was painting them. I drew that to his attention….Tina made him stop so she could fix it. Several times before no bath presoak or sugar scrub. They are way under staffed, not big enough to accommodate the flow of clients that come through. Tina does a good job. But she is to busy accepting walk ins, answering the phone and allowing clients to come 15 min or more late to apts. Causing my scheduled appt to lack the service I am paying for and expecting. Tony hurts me every time he takes off my gel and does the worst job painting. They have forgotten to do top coats and I have had to remind them.

After a week of camping I was desperate for a pedicure. The shop is by appt only but Gina was able to work me in the next day. She and Tony tagged team to get me done in between a steady stream of regulars and the never ending phone calls but the end result was wonderful!

Went in for a pedicure and manicure. Took way longer than I expected, went in at 1045 came out at about 120. It took all 3 of them to fix the situation. They messed up 3 times on a gel pedicure. The guy used a regular nail polish cover on gel polish. I am slid right off and he got up and walked away. I was okay with this as it was busy and they did fix it. However, that night it chipped off and came off completely on some. Definitely did not go back to have them fix it again. Called them to say hey, your gel polish is old and that was most likely the problem. The “owner” said come in and we will full refund it. Okay cool. Don’t feel that was her intentions at all. This is why the one star for the rudest service ever. She called me a liar and then did not refund the full service like she said she would. Instead made a scene in the full salon and in front of my child. Beyond obnoxious and not appropriate. No reason for the scene and wouldn’t not have drove all the way back for that childish behavior. But to leave on a positive, the manicure was probably the best I’ve had anywhere. Sadly, won’t be back from the rude service.

Gina and Tony are my favorite people to have do my nails. They are super friendly, clean, and will go out of their way to make sure you get what you like. I recommend calling 2 days in advance for an appointment. It’s worth the wait in this small town!

Today was the second time I tried this place. I scheduled an appointment and came with 2 friends the first time. Scheduling an appointment was pointless as they took 3 walk ins who were still picking colors when we walked in for our scheduled appointments. Then we had to go 1 at a time and ended up being there for just over 3 hours for 3 manicures while the people who walked in all sat together for their pedicures and manicures.
