Almost 45-years old and just had my first pedicure at VIP Nails about 2-weeks ago now. I’m a SCUBA instructor, so I figured I’d have some fun with it and get dive flags painted on. The customers on the dive boat love em. I’ve had a few even want to take pictures of them. They’ve made for some great conversation starters. Not sure what my next design will be, but I definitely plan on making pedicures a regular thing now. Thanks to the staff who made me feel welcomed and help me through my first time.

I got gel extensions from here, a guy did them and he made them super thick and didn’t shape them at all. I went back 2 weeks after to have them removed and they ripped my nail extensions off. The person removing them took nail clippers under the gel and pried the gel off my nails. Not only was this excruciating, but she damaged my nails. I wanted them to be soaked off but she didn’t have time so she just ripped them off and didn’t stop when I said it hurt and pulled my hand away. Extensions aren’t good for your nails but there’s better ways to remove them.

Vip nails in Kihei always delivers! Absolutely amazing nails, and Derek is so talented. I brought in 4 or 5 different pictures of nails, with my dress and he miraculously brought together the nails and the vision with those ideas. The quality and service here is always excellent, and I always a great experience. Highly recommend!!!!!

I walked into V.I.P. for a fill on a set I got done somewhere else (never again). My set here came out looking better than it did the first time, even fixed my shape! Could not be happier with the results. Very professional staff and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend.

I was vacationing close by and broke a nail. Looked at some local places and this one was closest with the best reviews. Good thing I went because they were awesome! The owner got me in within a hour or so of my call and although they were busy got my nails soaked off while they finished a pedicure and did my dip nails to perfection. I am not on Maui often as my son goes to school on Oahu but I will be sure to book an appointment here next time we come. My neighbor in Seattle owns a nail salon and I feel like I was at “home” in the same way with this family owned business. If you are not sure whether to book her or not, do it. Highly recommend!
