I’ve come to this place in the past, but stopped going here a couple years ago when a guy that worked there was unbelievably rude to my friend and I. I came here yesterday to get a fill done on my nails. I was told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was fine with me, but I ended up waiting an hour. The girl that did my nails was really nice, but she rushed through the whole process. She told me I needed a new set of acrylic nails, and I told her “ok” but she never gave me a new full set. She did take one of my acrylic nails off and never put a new one on. All of my nails were cut unevenly, which I didn’t notice until I left and looked at them harder. I don’t think I will come back again, I usually go to a nail salon in Yukon but needed my nails done desperately so I just came here. Won’t make that mistake again.

UPDATE: VIP Nails got in touch with me and apologized for what happened and asked me to go back to fix my nails. They were very nice and told me to make sure I tell them before I leave and they will make sure you get what you asked for. Found VIP NAILS in 2020 when I moved here permanently. Went to 4 different salons before finding them. I will not go to anyone else if I do a walkin instead of appointment there’s no problem. My toes have weird ingrown toenails, but look normal so throws everyone off. So even different people every time I just tell them how I want them trimmed and cut, which ones are hurting the worst. If they don’t understand the way I describe them there’s always someone to jump in and interpret for me. Like I said I won’t go anywhere else. THANKS VIP

This place was awful. I took my daughter and friend to get their first pedicures and while we were in the middle of pedicure a fist fight broke out between the employees. The atmosphere was awful leading up to the fight. Not relaxing at all. Just talking about pedicure, and water was cold, we were left for a while before being attended to even with appointment. Then the water was too hot, they kept insisting on gel when I kept saying no I just want regular polish. We grabbed our stuff and ran. I will never ever step foot in this place again. Ever. Stay away.

We made an appointment to get 3 pedicures. We were however late to our appointment but when we arrived, we were told to take a seat in the spas and wait. While waiting they continued to help additional customers. She continued to start other peoples spas to let their feet soak and continued to ignore my friends and I. After noticing the girl, who confronted me about my appointment, sitting down, talking and ignoring us, we decided to leave. Will not be back.

Positive: ProfessionalismI am New to the area and trying to find a consistent salon. They did excellent. They had my colors that I have Went to 4 salons looking for (I only Wear pink glitter. A certain kind) I had Specific requests with my child’s nails, and they accommodated them. I am Also autistic and the way my nails have to be done is very very short and it’s a sensory experience for me…. I’m not easy to do nails on. It’s difficult for them, and they accommodated, even me returning to have them shortened again. Basically they were able to roll with the punches for the special requests, and they didn’t even know i was autistic. They were kind, gentle, good to my 3 year old. I go where I’m treated well….
