This was my first time going to V Hair Braiding. I got bomb twist which came out nice. Vera did an great job. It took a while for her to confirm my appointment which made me nervous since I needed my hair done for an event, but otherwise she was great and I love my braids.

I wouldn’t recommend. I thought this was a professional place based off the Instagram and website I booked through and I paid a deposit and everything just to be seen 2 hours late for my scheduled appointment and didn’t even get offered a discount or anything. I asked for small box braids and the lady acted like she didn’t know what I was talking about and asked for a picture and didn’t even do them small. I said something to her when she first started cause it seem like the way she was parting they weren’t being done small and she said they were small and I wasn’t in front of a mirror or anything but I should have followed my instinct and just left after I thought they weren’t small.

I wouldn’t recommend. Prices are not as listed on booking site… when you arrive you are shown a length chart and told based on length the prices on the chart would be what you actually pay. Braiders are not always skilled in what you what but will not tell you until you’ve sat there and are unsatisfied with your hair. They will press you to pay them even if you don’t like your hair and it’s NOT WHAT YOU ASKED FOR after showing a picture and being told it could be done. They will offer to redo your hair only to make you come on their time like you don’t work. They’re very slow and will eat and talk on the phone the entire time they’re doing your hair. Horrible customer service.

I seldomly leave reviews but I have to for this particular Salon. V Hair Braiding has been my go to salon for over 4 years. She specializes in hair care and is very knowledgeable about protective styles for all hair types. She gives appointment consultation to put her clients at ease before getting their hair done. Her shop is always clean and both her and her staff are ALWAYS very professional. I’ve never left her salon disappointed.. Don’t sit on this Salon, they are the best.
