Critical: QualityI went in on my prom day to get my nails done. The lady never asked me what kind of nails I wanted, nor did she do what I asked. I showed her a picture and told her how I wanted it, and she continued to do a different design. The shape was awful and crooked on almost every finger. I asked for her to cut my nails short and she basically refused and argued that “they would get shorter”, they never did. You can see the tip through the SNS, and now my real natural nails are breaking and are brittle. I have never had this happen to my nails before and now almost all of them are tearing. I went in on my prom day to get my nails done. The lady never asked me what kind of nails I wanted, nor did she do what I asked. I showed her a picture and told her how I wanted it, and she continued to do a different design. The shape was awful and crooked on almost every finger. Critical: Professionalism, QualityI’ll preface by saying that this is not the place I originally go for my nails but my regular salon had an hour wait. So I go in for a nail repair and am already annoyed because the polish selection is limited but I find a color that closely matches so I roll with it. I have acrylic pointy almond nails and the nail tech that I had could not get the shape right even though i specified that the shape was not the same and the edge needed to be pointier. Instead of paying attention to the details and asking for assistance, he asks if i wanted to file/shape the nail myself. How is this the job you trained for but you can’t get it right?! So I go in for a nail repair and am already annoyed because the polish selection is limited but I find a color that closely matches so I roll with it. I have acrylic pointy almond nails and the nail tech that I had could not get the shape right even though i specified that the shape was not the same and the edge needed to be pointier. Instead, they gave me the basic $23 pedicure without asking what I wanted or checking the gift certificate to see the value. The guy finished my pedicure in 15 minutes and walked away never to return. I sat there an additional 15 minutes while my toes dried and listened as the other nail tech complained to my Mom about her health problems and changing doctors…very relaxing! During all that time I sat there waiting for them to finish with my Mom, it still never occurred to them to make sure they had given me the correct service. I also had to put on my own flip flops when it was time to leave! At checkout, they did acknowledge that they gave me the wrong service, but by that time I was beyond ready to go. My Mother and I got gift certificates for Christmas for a $29 pedicure. Instead, they gave me the basic $23 pedicure without asking what I wanted or checking the gift certificate to see the value. The guy finished my pedicure in 15 minutes and walked away never to return.
