This is the worst haircut I’ve ever received and I have cut my own hair, in the past. I went to cosmetology school when I was younger. I’m not picky by any means. Bottom line – It was uneven and patchy all over. The stylist was cuttin random pieces, followed no guides or structure, cut the perimeter first, and didn’t ever cross check or spin me to see the back. She got impatient with me when i told her one area was much longer. While cutting it shorter she said “well we could have just used clippers then”… which i was never opposed to. (She soaked the previous clients collared button up and told him he should wear a t shirt next time.) I didnt want to say another word bc i was afraid it would becone more unfixable. Regardless – It doesn’t take going to hairschool to see that this cut was completely uneven. One area was 1in, another was 3in. I had to go to Costcutters right after where the girl saw it and audibly said “omg.” And felt so bad she didn’t charge me to fix it (left a very good tip.) I went back to utopia to get a refund and wasn’t even questioned by the stylist. I was told “nope. Can’t do it.” I questioned- you can’t refund me? “You can get a refund tomorrow when the owner is here.” Didnt even ask what was wrong or how she could fix it. Had zero sympathy. Wasn’t going to leave a review until her flippant reaction. First two pics are Utopia cut. The cleaned up pics are christine at costcutters

I just wanted to share my experience that I had at the salon recently (11-18-22). My stylist, Melissa, was just what my hair needed. She interpreted what I asked for perfectly. My hair looks great! Love this, Salon, love the Ollaplex product line that they carry. It has done wonders for my hair. My stylist was informative and helped me choose a style that would work best for my features and hair type. A women I met in the waiting room said all of the stylists here were very skilled. Been going to this salon for a few months now. Kristen actually listens to me. Not only does she cut, color and style my hair with amazing talent, she works with me to prepare my hair for what we want to do with regard to the next design. .My hair doesn’t always look the same month over month, year after year unless of course I want it to be.
