This is the second time I’ve tried this place. The first time I showed them a pic I wanted and they said they could do it but it was horrible. But thus time the service was horrible and disgusting. Phong Truong Is very rude unprofessional and disrespectful to customers. His hands and nails were filthy. He was upset that I asked him to repaint my nails because they were thick sloppy and missing spots. He got so angry and aggressive and told me to get out his chair. Another nail tech tried to fix them but he didn’t do any better $75 for crap… WORST NAIL SALON IN INDIANA…

Critical: ProfessionalismWORST salon experience I’ve ever had. I was sitting in the parking lot and called to see how long the wait was for walk ins. I was told no wait, but proceeded to wait 20 minutes. I’m not happy with my nails at all. The cost was $70, and the price does not reflect the quality! She used the hand file WAY to rough in the corners, to the point there I bled (pictures attached). And the nail polish is everywhere. Definitely will not be back after this experience. WORST salon experience I’ve ever had. I was sitting in the parking lot and called to see how long the wait was for walk ins. I was told no wait, but proceeded to wait 20 minutes. Love it there! Always friendly service and good care. They do the neatest & most professional job of all the places I’ve been to. I’ve seen most of the technicians and they’ve never disappointed me. Referred many people here as well, and they’ve been pleased too. They need to replace the pictures on their ad, as those nails look a mess! Mine have never come close to looking that bad. They are excellent and conscientious.

They were not very busy. 6 techs and there were no waits at the door. I’ve been getting my nails done for over ten years. I have been to many salons across highland, munster and Schererville. My regular salon is closed on Sunday. So I chose here. A place I’ve been twice before. I’ve never been burned with a dremel tool. I was burned 4 times during my visit today. Two burns bled. The man who initially helped me over filed my tips on the sides so the shape was crooked and my real nails(without acrylic over them) was exposed by the bed. He also added glue to my underneath between the separation of my real nail and the old tip. there was glue everywhere after That. He was so Careless. The edges were jagged and the initial polish he used caused bumps and was not smooth or consistent. When I mentioned it he said “oh it’s just the polish” and continued two more coats. When he finished the third coat and the color was not smooth I informed him that it isn’t supposed to look like that so he called another tech over to help me and he took another person. The 2nd tech was a woman who is regularly there. And has helped me before. She was kind at first but she burned me twice ON THE ALREADY BLEEDING OPEN BURNS and started rushing after I reacted to the second one with an ouch. She took off the gel polish the previous tech put on but did not remove it around the edges or cuticles thinking painting over it would not show through. That proved to NOT be true and the second color I picked out, you could still see the first one underneath it. She also over polished everywhere and the polish was stuck all over my fingers and under my tips past the nails. I asked her to clean it up and she did a very bad job and also rushed through that. I paid my full cost and still tipped although neither of them deserved it for how they rushed me and burned me. They were rude when I mentioned my concerns and I will never return or recommend them to my friends or family. They were not busy at all to be rushing through their work. Very sloppy and unprofessional.

So after reading the reviews I decided to go to Barbra and she does a great job they even will make you an appointment if you ask nicely enough. I wouldn’t go to anybody else there but I can vouch for barbras work she will sit and take the time to do what you want done and they last a relatively long time. Every nail tech is different. So after reading the reviews I decided to go to Barbra and she does a great job they even will make you an appointment if you ask nicely enough. I wouldn’t go to anybody else there but I can vouch for barbras work she will sit and take the time to do what you want done and they last a relatively long time. Not the very best I’ve ever had done but definitely the best nails I’ve ever gotten in a stress free environment

Critical: PunctualityI have come to US Nails for services many times and have always been satisfied until a couple weeks ago. I called the salon on the morning of 8/12 and made an appointment for 3:30pm. I usually don’t make an appointment but I was leaving out of town and needed to make sure I could get in and out on time. I arrived a few minutes before 3:30 and all chairs were full. I said I had an appointment at 3:30 and the owner spoke with a tech and told me it would be about 5 minutes and to pick out my color. Ok, no problem. I let 15 minutes go by and decided to ask the nail tech who was to do my nails next how much longer it would be. She said “15 minutes, 10-15 minutes.” I got up immediately and said I was leaving. The owner tried to stop me. I reiterated that I had made an appointment at 3:30 so I wouldn’t have to wait and had already been waiting longer than she initially told me, and left. I have come to US Nails for services many times and have always been satisfied until a couple weeks ago. I called the salon on the morning of 8/12 and made an appointment for 3:30pm. I usually don’t make an appointment but I was leaving out of town and needed to make sure I could get in and out on time. I arrived a few minutes before 3:30 and all chairs were full.
