Absolutely amazing! I used Urbanity for my hair and makeup for my wedding. Not only was I invited in a week before for a practice run, but they came to me on the big day! I had 5 bridesmaids and each one had their hair and makeup done. Three stylists came and it was so much fun! They were absolutely amazingly fun! My flower girl was so jealous she wasn’t getting anything done, so they curled her hair for free and she felt so special! I totally would recommend their services!

I’ve been going to Urbanity for quite some time now to get my hair done. When it came to needing my hair and make up done for my wedding, the ladies here were of course the best choice! They took great care of me and my girls. I’ve never been one to even bother with make up, let me tell you how amazing the make up on my wedding day felt. I absolutely loved the airbrush (and girls get the eyelashes, they look great in photos), it didn’t even feel like I had any makeup on at all! our was amazing. Our hairstyles were also beautiful and lasted well into the nights. I highly recommend Urbanity rather you need a hair cut or makeup for your special day, the ladies will not disappoint you! =)

I’ve been going to urbanity now for a few years and there is no other place I would trust with my hair!! Ellen is amazing and has helped bring my hair back to life!! I’ve struggled with my hair for so long and I’m finally at a place where I’m happy with it. I’ve had my makeup done there as well for 2 weddings, one being my own, and Karen did an AMAZING job on my airbrushing and I had so many compliments on my eyes!! I’m so happy with the services I receive at urbanity and I would 10/10 recommend!!!

Love Karen at Urbanity! She did my daughters hair and makeup on her wedding day. Karen was kind enough to come in on her day off, and did air brush cover up for me as well. There were no hidden fee’s or expenses either. Make up and hair stayed all day and night. Air brush foundation and eye make up didn’t run through the tears. My daughter doesn’t normally wear make up and Karen did an excellent job giving her a natural look. A veil was placed in her hair and it stayed in place all evening too. Highly recommend this salon. All of the customers coming out of the salon getting hair done by other stylists looked great too.

I would not recommend this salon to my worst enemy. After being referred here by a college friend (last time she was here was about 2yrs ago) I decided to try it out as I am new to the Buffalo area. When I called to schedule my appointment I explained my type of hair and it’s thickness, I was told that they had no problem doing hair of my thickness and texture. I showed up early and re-explained just to be safe. My hair came out horrible after 2 hrs. I was highly disappointed and cried on my way out. I called after returning home to speak with a manager about the quality of the job done on my hair for $50. She took my number and sent me a text informing me that the owner would be in contact. The owner took 2 weeks to get in contact with me and was extremely rude. I was not offered a refund or any type of compensation such as a discount off my next service or a redo. Once the owner did contact me she was not helpful, kind, or in anyway understanding. Please do not go here if you want quality service.

There’s a certain amount of love and care that goes in the work Urbanity does daily. You feel it the moment you enter the room and see the modern classic furniture and decor. I’ve only had my hair cut by Lauren, and she takes the utmost care to make sure that my hair looks great. She’ll take the initiative to suggest styles and cuts that really compliment who I am and what would suit me. They get to know you and really, really take care of you. This is not some come in, sit down, chop hair, talk about nothing, pay and leave experience. Even though the price isn’t much different! I’ve been going there for the atmosphere and environment as much as the fact that when I walk out, I’m looking the best I could possibly look.

Great haircut and beard trim. Comfortable atmosphere, very laid back. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely recommend to anyone male or female the stylists here are very skilled at what they do.
