I’ve always had such good experiences at Urban Chic!! Their nail techs are so talented and are really detailed/careful/precise. They’re quite busy normally so I’d book an appointment rather than a walk-in but it just shows how high demand their talent is! This is my go-to spot for acrylics and gel-x with nail designs.

I used to go to this location often when they first opened and it was relaxing, accommodating and professional. The salon was pristine. I recently went back and they removed the entire waiting area and filled it with nail stations, there was no place to pick a color without standing inches from a nail tech. The place was pure chaos with almost every chair filled and some people even sitting in pedicure stations waiting. The receptionist was super nice and helpful. There was another young lady who kindly checked on me, offered me water and was doing a fantastic job keeping up with disinfecting/sanitizing pedicure stations. My nail tech did a very nice job with my nails but it was so noisy and hot (AC was off on a 90 degree day) so it was kind of hard to relax and enjoy the services. While they still provide quality results, I would recommend they put some emphasis on ambiance and comfort? That waiting area was nice, had a pretty rug, comfy chairs and plenty of room to choose your polish.

Pedicure was fine, then I went to get my natural nails done with a French colored manicure. Showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and she decided to chop off my nails so barely any white was left on my natural nail. There was no need to cut my nails at all and now I have to wait for them to grow back out. Highly disappointed as I do not use fake nails or acrylics. And now I can’t do the cute look I wanted. Highly disappointed and even more upset I can’t get a refund on the gift card my husband had bought me to use here.

I came as a walk-in and was seen very quickly. I got a hard gel overlay on my natural nails with a French tip design. Twee was quick and precise. I love my nails! Gel manicures

I wasn’t happy with my nails. I showed them a picture and it wasn’t the shape or color. All the nails were misshapen and crooked, and slightly sticky. My pointer finger was significantly shorter than every other nail, and the other nails had to be filed down and I lost the length I wanted. My pedicure was horrific. When I asked them to just remove my nails, they fought me on it instead. The lady redoing them cut me deep on my fingers, where I audibly winced, and I literally cried in the salon. She did not apologize or anything. Just angrily sanded the polish down. I paid and left. What a terrible experience.
