Absolutely love this salon! The staff is so welcoming and they never fail to greet every customer with a smile and send them on their way with a smile after they’ve got their tan on! And if you take the time to listen to the employees about their products you would be pleasantly surprised. They offer the lowest priced lotions with the best ingredients than any other salon nearby, and the memberships they sell have great perks to them, like BonusBucks, money that the owner puts back into your account when you’re a loyal customer! In addition, if a customer is unhappy, all they have to do is call the owner and 9 times out of 10 they will leave satisfied with something they have worked out. 10/10 in my book.

Place was always clean, the girl behind the desk was always nice, I just never had time to get in to fully take advantage of my membership. Make sure to read your contract CLOSELY as they have a clause where you need to cancel by the 25th or they will charge you. The girl who typically works the desk was nice and told me that if I did get charged again to call ask about getting it refunded. When I called some other woman answered the phone, and she was completely unprofessional and downright condescending. My experience was overall good, however I will now not consider returning after dealing with whomever this other lady was.

Everyone that works at Urbana tanning is so nice and helpful! Always very clean and good prices. Love that there is a stand up bed, so much easier on your skin and still get a lot of color!!!

When you first walk in to the salon the employees friendly great all customers. There is a new HD spray tan with scent and bronzer additives and the salon is very clean! The monthly membership prices will beat any other salon!! Highly reccomend!!

Every time I go in there’s awful customer service. Girls are behind the desk on their phones not paying attention. Bulbs are never changed and place is not maintained well. I asked If there was specials going on and they “weren’t sure” & it’s overpriced. The beds they have aren’t worth the price they charge. It’s a shame that this is all that’s in Urbana. Hopefully someone else will open another tanning salon!

Tonight I went to the Urbana tanning Salon which I’ve been going to for about a year now and the staff and tanning beds have always been amazing. I came here tonight to get a spray tan for a wedding Saturday in their newer spray machine which I’ve used once before with no problems. At the end of the session the spray piece got stuck on the left side instead of moving back and forth and soaked the whole back of my left leg and got nothing on the other side. I came out and let my sister know to use the other machine and let the staff know what happened. My sister has already payed for this same one and the staff told her she didn’t know what to do because she already paid. She called the owner or manager on her phone and then came and asked to see my leg. I’m assuming he thought I was lying because the spray comes out clear and looking at my leg wouldn’t do anything? Not once did I ask for anything, I just wanted my sister to use a different machine so her tan didn’t get messed up as well and not once did the staff apologize or offer anything for the incident. I thought that was a little ridiculous and the owner seems to not really care about his customers.
