I went for an Urban Signature Massage. Upon entering, I was greeted with relaxing sounds of ‘music’ throughout the facility. The staff was welcoming and I was given a warmed neck pillow to use while I filled out the paperwork that would allow them to personalize the included facial to my specific skin type. Morgan did a great job and I was totally relaxed the whole time. The facial also included a hand and arm massage. Everyone was friendly and professional. I went back for a Swedish massage with concentration in my upper shoulder area and Wendi did a great job of getting the knots out and was friendly and professional as well.

Andrew was amazing and made sure i felt comfortable my first time! This was the first massage I’d ever received and it was super relaxing but I could also feel him working out my sore/stiff areas of my shoulder blade and neck. All I wanted to do when I got home was nap. I’ll definitely be back and the environment was so welcoming and relaxing!!!

I absolutely love this spa! The staff are pure professionals and their massages are heavenly. My only gripe is the small parking lot – it’s very rare to find a spot in the lot and you often have to park on the street and walk. However, that small inconvenience is worth the reward inside!

They did not pay attention to my listed allergy to collagen and used products that made my face breakout. I explicitly stated my allergy to collagen, caused by a tic-borne disease making people allergic to alpha-gal. When I could feel my face react to the products and told here I was having an allergic reaction, the lady checked the labels and confirmed that there was (collagen) in the products. She acted like it was no big deal, washed my face, and gave me some “cooling cream”. I explained at checkout what happened and the girl was mildly apologetic and offered 10% off. My face raged with redness and pain for hours and I had to put ice on it to try and cool it down. I called several time asking to speak with a manager but no one would put me through nor would they call me back. I wanted to give them a chance to explain how they won’t let that happen again to other people and perhaps offer compensation for the stress. It was a horrible and preventable experience that cost me over $100 and could have been avoided if they would have checked the ingredients of the products.

The front desk attendant who scheduled my next appointment made a mistake and booked an appointment for me with the wrong massage therapist. She realized the mistake right after she booked it, and booked the correct appointment for me. I asked if she had removed the appointment I DID NOT ASK FOR and she advised me she had.

Screwed up my partner’s reservation – even when he confirmed the date twice during the call. Didn’t even have the confirmation email correct. When we came in for the appointment, the front desk staff didn’t seem to care one bit that their mistake had ruined our date night. They had us scheduled for nearly a month later and acted like my partner must have purposefully scheduled for that evening (not even close to the date he specified). Cancelled the useless appointment and will not be returning.

Chad is THE reason I come to urban sanctuary. I’m a waitress, which really wrecks my body. Chad is *so* knowledgeable about the workings of the body, so deft at creating a comfortable environment and so responsive to feedback and instruction — he’s the only person I trust to fix the wreckage working a busy parents weekend Saturday does on my body. I leave my sessions with him feeling all “New legs, lieutenant Dan!” Someone give this man a raise!
