I have been a client with Urban Salon for about 10 years now. Stacey and her staff are so amazing!! It is such a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the minute you walk in the door. There is always a lot of laughter as you are pampered with exceptional service. You can tell everyone enjoys their jobs and want you to feel relaxed and at home. On top of all that, you will look and feel amazing after your service. I get my hair highlighted and cut on a regular schedule with Stacey. She is superb at making me look my best by listening to my needs and offering suggestions as well. I trust her guidance completely. I know she does a great job because I get compliments nearly once a month on my hair!!! If you care about friendly, top notch service and want to looking your best, make an appointment with any of the stylists at Urban!!!

I love the salon experience here and I love how Stacey has colored and styled my hair for many years now. I’m so impressed with how Stacey and all the stylists keep up with the latest color techniques and styles. I travel frequently and my hairstyle always is on trend and easy to maintain. I met Stacey through the salon and we became friends over time. The salon is also my favorite gift store, the jewelry, scarves, bags and other special items are gorgeous, practical, selected with care and ethically sourced. Getting one of their great coffees, infused waters or healthy snacks is a bonus! The minute you walk in, you can feel their warm, welcoming, professional approach.

Critical: PunctualityDon’t really want to spend any more time on this place even for writing a review.I had 3pm haircut appointment and at 3:30pm she was still working on her previous customer. Once I realized I am gonna be late from a work phone call at 4:10 and told her I don’t think there is enough time as I wasn’t planning to wait for 30 minutes her response was “You don’t know how fast I can do my job”. Well, yes i don’t know and probably that is a good thing, I wouldn’t wanted to wait 30 minutes and get rushed haircut and pay pretty high price for that, and while it might sounded very surprising for “some people” I am highly responsible and couldn’t risk and be late from my work!To be fair she apologized at the end, but it didn’t really change the bad experience I had and didn’t return 30 minutes I lost waiting!Don’t really want to spend any more time on this place even for writing a review.I had 3pm haircut appointment and at 3:30pm she was still working on her …More

The hardest part of moving is finding a new stylist, right? I am so happy to say that it happened on my first try. I reached out to my network and 9/10 responses said Urban Salon. Katie was amazing and gave me a cut I loved walking out the door, not an easy task. The atmosphere is uplifting and also a great place to shop. Love my new purse! I highly recommend Urban Salon. I’ve been going to Urban Salon now for about 14 years and no one knows my hair better! I can honestly say I’ve tried going to other places to see what else is out there, but I always go back! Stacey is amazing with my hair and I love giving her name when I get the compliments! The salon is such a fun and inviting place to be. Critical: Professionalism, QualityTo be clear, I went to this salon 3 times, even brought my daughter to the salon back in June 2012. First two times were fine. But the owner Stacey was very unprofessional at the third time. It was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever came across. Especially coming from the owner. It was the worst customer service experience I’ve ever came across. Especially coming from the owner. She cut my hair much shorter than I asked. Then asked me what do I think. I LOVE this place. From the moment you walk in, until the moment you leave – you feel like a million bucks. The team is so kind, sweet and attentive. The salon is gorgeous. Every time I am there, I feel so zen and relaxed and don’t want to leave. Katrina (aka Katie) has been doing my hair for awhile now and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with it! She is so awesome and gives you honest feedback about what is possible and what will work with your hair. Whenever I leave an appointment with her I feel extremely happy with my hair. You can tell that everyone on the staff has the utmost knowledge about what they’re doing. They are so well trained and informed about new and safe ways to treat your hair. The beautiful setting, the delicious nibbles, the warm treatment of the owner and staff and the gorgeous haircut my wife received made our wedding day – which was the reason we were looking for a hair salon urgently at 9am on a Tuesday – a memorable, magical day.
