Hannah is awesome! I have curly hair and hadn’t had a haircut in a year, nobody had ever shown me how to take care of it I’ve been winging it. Hannah took the time to listen to my concerns, answer my many questions, and more! She was very friendly and I enjoyed having conversation with her throughout the service. She was gentle handed and thorough in her work, you can tell she loves being behind the chair. I’ll be using Hannah’s superior curly hair services while I live in the area. I highly recommend her for curly hair folks! They also sell some great quality hair products. Also – when you call you’ll be directed to a voicemail that will give you the phone numbers for who you want to get in contact with since they’re all separate hair stylists.

Hannah was AMAZING- I went in for a curly-hair-specific cut. I am in town for a vacation and really needed to get my hair shorter with this heat. I searched online for way too long looking for curly hair specialists in central Florida, and found Urban Hair online. I was able to book an appointment for a few days after I arrived, and Hannah even called me ahead of my appointment to talk about my curl needs and start the consultation. I felt prepared and informed on cut day. At the salon Hannah talked with me about my face shape and complimentary curl cut shapes, and did a dry cut. Then washed while instructing me how to wash and treat and style my hair going forward for maximum curl. She took as much time as I needed to answer all of my questions and was extremely patient with me. I learned a TON.

I had a wonderful experience at Urban Hair Studio. Samanta is terrific! She took the time to look closely at what was going on with my hair. She asked a bunch of questions and actually listened to the answers. She cut my hair and explained as she went. She told my why she was cutting what she was cutting, and explained how it would fall as a result. I’ve had several curly cuts in the past, but this was definitely the most personalized and caring cut I’ve ever gotten. She walked me through her styling techniques so I could replicate them at home. She put me under the hood, but when it wasn’t 100% dry afterwards, she diffused it the rest of the way. I never had a stylist spend so much time on me. She made me feel really special and important. My hair turned out great! I’ve been looking for a curly hair expert near my home for a long time, and thankfully I’ve finally found her! My search is over! Thank you so much, Samanta! I can’t say enough good things about you!! She diffused, but I usually air dry. I’m attaching a pic of my air dried hair. The curls are popping!!
