urban eve used to be my go to when i needed my hair done. recently they have just gone down hill and prices have gone sky high. before making my appointment i told them i have really thick curly hair. they suggested me a stylist that they claimed knew how to work with my type of hair. later to find out they were wrong. $115 later my “trim” looks like a kid with silly scissors went to town on my hair. never will i be back.

Stylist was good, there wasn’t proper communication on pricing, was told it’s $38 for men’s hair cut. After I get my cut they ring me for $50 because I had and a4 stylist I have never in my life paid $50 for a hair cut. Be warned this place is high dollar.

As a salon owner/stylist for over 25 years I had great hopes for this place. I went in for a trim of my one length hair and unfortunately there were technical flaws. The left front side was at least 1/2 inch longer than the right, and because she didn’t have me move my head around in order to get a nice clean line I ended up with 1″ of hair sticking out of the bottom of my bob. I had to fix it and won’t be back. Paid $47 plus tip. Not worth it! The skill is not there. No refund offered! Basic Beauty School skills. Chelsea in Lake Jackson was my stylist.
