Critical: PunctualityThe only reason I gave Ryan Anderson a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because he is a good stylist but time management is not his friend. I scheduled my appointment almost 3 weeks in advance so it should have not been any problems this morning instead Ryan text me about 30 minutes before my appointment and said he was running late can I come a hour later which I said fine. I showed up an hour later and this mother flower was half way finish with another customer hair and asked me can I wait again WTH!!! Like he didn’t just waste an hour of my time already. He needs to keep in mind that people have lives and jobs as well and if he does not know how to manage his times then he should space his appointments out instead of stacking them. Horrible experience and he waste my entire morning. I am all about supporting black businesses but ain’t not way in HELL will I be booking another appointment with Ryan. The only reason I gave Ryan Anderson a 2 star instead of a 1 star is because he is a good stylist but time management is not his friend. Critical: Professionalism, PunctualityI was very excited to have my hair colored by Ryan, as his work is amazing! However, Ryan texted me to reschedule my appointment a couple of hours before it was supposed to start. We rescheduled for the next day, which was Father’s Day, for 10am, which Ryan suggested. I traveled for my rescheduled appointment and waited outside the salon for literally almost a full hour after my appointment time (I really wanted my hair done and was hoping he would say something honestly) attempting to reach him via calling, texting, messaging on IG, and emailing. No response. To this day, still no response on any platform. Ryan seemed really nice and helpful- until it was time to actually do my hair. I saw reviews on StyleSeat prior to booking regarding Ryan rescheduling appointments last minute, but decided to book anyway because like I said, his work is amazing and that’s undeniable. Unfortunately, I was unable to leave a review on StyleSeat before my appointment was marked refunded on his end. I usually don’t use reviews, but hopefully this can help someone else avoid a similar situation- have a back up plan. I was very excited to have my hair colored by Ryan, as his work is amazing! However, Ryan texted me to reschedule my appointment a couple of hours before it was supposed to start. We rescheduled for the next day, which was Father’s Day, for 10am, which Ryan suggested.
