Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a safe and highly effective physical exfoliation procedure when performed by a trained professional, such as the Registered Nurse at Uptown Medispa. Dermaplaning uses a sterile, surgical scalpel to gently “shave” the skin’s surface. This removes the top-most layer of dead skin along with fine, vellus hair (aka peach fuzz). Dermaplaning creates an overall smoother, silkier skin surface. It can also be used in conjunction with a light chemical peel or skin-brightening treatment for optimal results

Uptown Medispa uses lip fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane and Verse products.
Microneedling
Microneedling, sometimes called collagen induction therapy (CIT) or percutaneous collagen induction (PCI), is a minimally invasive service. A dermal “pen” uses a grouping of tiny needles to imprint shallow (2 mm or less) punctures into the skin. This produces a controlled opening of the dermis. Most often with microneedling, skin repairing serums are needled into the skin. This technique allows for deeper penetration of the product. Products used are based on skin type and the clients desired results. After the service, the skin undergoes self-repair in which high levels of collagen are formed and the skin is strengthened. Microneedling is excellent for skin resurfacing, scar repair and softening of lines and wrinkles. Microneedling can be performed several weeks before Botox injections to help smooth out stubborn lines.

You will find your skin will feel smoother, more radiant and rejuvenated. Chemical peels treat large pores, surface discoloration and imperfections as well as provide an overall youthful appearance.

Dermal Filler- Juvederm, Restylane, Versa
Dermal Filler Injections utilize a stabilized product used to smooth moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds around the nose and mouth or shape facial contours. Semi-permanent filler injections are customized for every patient, depending on his or her particular needs.
Double chin & fat contouring/ Mesotherapy
A prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of fat below the chin or in common “trouble ” areas of the body.

This luxurious skin care treatment infuses oxygen, plant-derived stem cells, peptides and a high concentration of enzymatic botanicals into the skin leaving it luminous, refreshed and rejuvenated.
PDO Thread Lifting
Thread Lift treatments, made of absorbable PDO suture material, are an easy way to achieve non-surgical facial rejuvenation. PDO Threads are very safe and may be used in areas considered high risk for dermal fillers. Collagen is stimulated by the threads which are inserted sub-dermally in a lifting or mesh technique, with no incisions or scars. This results in lifted skin and improved skin texture. ​Areas of treatment include mid-face sagging, nasolabial folds (“parenthesis”), jawline, chin, brow lift and more. Topical numbing cream is applied or injected at the treatment areas. After that takes effect, the areas are cleaned and the threads are inserted beneath the skin. The treatment is very tolerable. You will see some immediate results from threads. Results will continue to improve over the next 2 months. You will be given ice to apply at the end of your treatment. Results can last 12-18 months.

When treating acne scars, PRP is delivered along with microneedling of the affected area. Most clients require between one and three treatments for optimal results. ​HAIR RESTORATION: PRP for hair restoration is the leading and most effective treatment for thinning hair in women. It is also highly effective in treating male pattern baldness. Hair thins when the follicles shrink and become micronized. Injected PRP triggers new blood flow and stimulates hair follicle stem cells, which enlarge and strengthen the follicles. The result is regrowth of fuller, thicker and more lustrous hair. PRP can be used as a hair growth aid even in clients who are not experiencing hair loss.

Fabulous experience! The locations is perfect and the room was cozy. I saw Bridgette before my trip to Italy and she took such good care of me. She did dermaplaning so my skin would be bright and fresh for pictures. Then she gave me a lash lift. I don’t like things done with my eyes but she was so good at helping me feel comfortable and oh my goodness. The results are amazing! It’s so nice to look awake, even when I’m tired! I must say I am impressed with the spa in how beautiful it is, how sweet and kind the receptionist was and Olivia was just a true professional. She has a sweet demeanor who talked me through every step of my treatment. I also added a Botox touch up with Nardin who is an amazing practitioner. Her knowledge of what I should and shouldn’t do was a breath of fresh air. She didn’t offer me more then I needed and aired on the side of caution which I really appreciate.
