Worst nail experience ever. The person doing my nails kept getting up and answering the phone and cashing out the other client. The manicure itself took over two hours. I was cut and scraped. The polish was old and chunky. In places there was nail polish over my fingers and in some places there was hardly any polish on my actual nail. She said “all done” I said “really?” And showed her the spots she missed and she just shrugged, laughed, and said “sorry”. After reading other reviews and talking to other people I’m not even sure she was a licensed technician. Very irresponsible. I would advise people to never go here! It was a horrible experience. When we called for an explanation about the service we were hung up on.

uhh. this is a hard review. kay is sweet & very good at what she does. ive gone there a long time. she has another new women working there, also kind of a nice lady. however, shes still learning (obviously) & is being trusted to do loyal customers nails. not a great experience bc she is still learning. some people are ok being the guinny pig, not me. not supposed to be painful experience.

Have been going to Upscale Nails for at least 5 years! Never have been dissatisfied! Kay is very careful and takes great pride in her work. I have gone to other nail spas in the area and always go back to Upscale!

Not even sure you could call it a manicure…I called to ask if I could come in without an appointment and was told yes. I got there and was taken immediately and my fingers were placed into a bowl of water – that’s it, just water. No oils, nothing. After a few minutes the technician pushed my cuticles back and started cutting them – she proceeded to cut the cuticles on each fingernail for a minute or more. I don’t think she was even getting any cuticle off. Finally after 15 minutes another technician came over, finished the job, filed the nails a bit, put on the polish and that was it. I walked out of there with no cuticle cream, no hand lotion, nothing. My hands and nails were drier than when I walked in. In retrospect I am not even sure the first person who worked on me is a licensed nail technician. She seemed to be stalling until someone else was available to do my manicure. A waste of $15 and 30 minutes.

Located at the 4 Corners in Penfield!!! Kay is very nice! I go to Upscale Nails exclusively! And have been going there for a long time!!! ! It used to be called NQ Nails!! She does a great job!! Reasonable prices!!

If I could give zero stars I would. THE WORST experience I have ever encountered!!! I got a gel manicure and a pedicure with my mom. The girl was very unprofessional. I get a pedicure for the massage…30 seconds on each foot/leg?!? Are you kidding me? My hands were massaged after my fingers were painted.
