First of all, this review is not based on their abilities. This is based on their hours of operation and their sign at their place of business that says open when they are not. The inside looks great, my friend had her eyebrows waxed and they look awesome. But they need to work on either time management, changing their hours of operation, learning how to turn OFF open signs and possibly getting an answering machine.

It’s been over a year since I’ve been here things may have changed, I just want to share my experience. The jist is, I was wanting to go platinum blonde, Casey dyed it, put me under the hair warmer, where my stylist waited on 2 other girls. About 15 minutes in my head is on fire, she leaves me under for a good 45 minutes, doesn’t check on me once. I have never got my hair done before so I didn’t know it wasn’t supposed to burn. I finally say something about it and she runs over to me like she forgot about me, when she finished with my hair, it was very discolored, very patchy with yellow, platinum, and purple. Then she made a comment about how if I could’ve stayed under the hair warmer it wouldn’t be patchy like that. (Even tho I was literally holding back tears for half an hour) She tells me not to shower till the next morning, my hair is soooo super stiff, but she said it would be fine and not to worry about it, the protein she put in it would fix it. The next morning when I shower, my hair is coming out in gobs, I couldn’t run my fingers through it at all, it was a wet pile of old elastic, touching it made it fall out. I am still (a year later) recovering from the damage.

I’m from out of state, and I called the salon to get a gift certificate for my Mom…for Mother’s Day. They were super friendly! They even mailed the gift certificate directly to my Mom, complete with a personalized message. I’m sure I’ll be the favorite this year! Thanks Upscale!
