On Saturday August 6th 2022 us ladies were getting ready to celebrate the most beautiful day with the most beautiful bride..2 of us girls got our hair done by this particular lady who did a horrible job. The experience at upper cut in Ashland wi was going good until this lady told another bridesmaid she didn’t know how to do a fishtail braid and to pick something else and had to watch a video on how to do it.she came back and her hair didn’t look anything like what she had wanted… Then my name was called to get my hair done by the same lady I went and sat in the chair showed her what I wanted and she said yup I can do that. Ok so she starts putting little rubber bands every where and says oh this looked better on pinterest I was like excuse me what I had showed you should only have a little rubber band at the bottom not a whole head full.. she took them out and started with ratting the top of my head n then started to braid. At this point I’m facing away from the mirror so I’m hoping and praying that it looks OK there was a chunk of hair left out on the left side that she tried curling (my hair doesn’t curl very good which she was told) when it didn’t curl she asked if she could cut it umm no then she said feather it ya again that’s a no. She went to the right side to curl that piece left out n burnt the top of my ear. So then she turns n I finally see the front n said omg my 6yr old can braid better I don’t like it take it out and just curl it she replied with it looks just the picture hahah umm no honey it doesn’t. She took it out and curled my hair leaving chunks of hair uncurled. I went up to the reception desk n the lady behind the desk says thats 75 bucks like what! At this point I’m furious we are already set back on time I had to rush over to the hotel and try n figure something out with my hair to get it to look decent for my best friends wedding. Thanks to the bridal party we pulled off something quick… at the end of it allthe bride looked amazing and made the most beautiful bride ever and thats really all that matters! But to top it off Heidi called to me today so I could express concern and was told that if I’m unhappy with it she would advise me not to come back and hung up the phone. How unprofessional

I showed a picture of what I wanted and I did not get it at all. I was spun around and constantly getting choked by the cape as the lady kept pushing on it to spin me instead of walking around. I showed a long layer peicy chin length cut and got a very short basically bangs around the top of my head look. I spoke with someone online and instead of trying to make things right they said “sorry that happened to you. Good thing is it grows back”

We understand that it will never be exactly the same as the picture. When we left though my wife ended up with bangs which she specifically said she did NOT want and I ended up looking like a mom in a 80s sitcom. We understand that it will never be exactly the same as the picture. When we left though my wife ended up with bangs which she specifically said she did NOT want and I ended up looking like a mom in a 80s sitcom. Previously, my hair was neglected, shapeless, and long. I was nervous going to a new salon, but needed to. I was thrilled when I was able to make an appointment at 7:00pm. I showed a few inspirational pics to the stylist, and she gave me a perfect do. The pricing was lower than what I expected for the haircut I received. I walked out extremely satisfied.

Went in as a walk-in and was in the chair within 30 minutes, so not bad. Friendly service, Chandler was very nice without being too chatty. Good job with my trim to clean up my edges. $21 seems expensive for a trim and is the reason for less than 5 stars.
