Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI made an appointment with Roman. I was looking for someone who also identifies as some form of non-binary, the term I prefer is gender queer. I was able to make an appointment with them for the next day. I went in with long layers and I didn’t feel like how I was presenting matched with who I feel I am, but now I do. They talked with me about the style I want and I came prepared with pictures, but wasn’t sure how it would look on me. They took their time and tried a started the fade part a little lower to make sure they didn’t take too much off. I decided I wanted it to be higher and they happily made that change. We talked about our shared experiences being outside the binary and how our experiences differed. The entire experience was validating and I think everyone who identities as any flavor of queer should go to United Grooming. My appointment was only supposed to be an hour, but Roman spent over 1.5 hours making sure I felt good about the cut and style. I’m sticking with Roman and they have a good amount of others barbers/stylists to choose from. It feels like a queer space and that feels really comfortable and welcoming to me. Anyone is welcome here, you don’t have to be queer, but if you are I think you’ll feel especially comfortable here. I made an appointment with Roman. I was looking for someone who also identifies as some form of non-binary, the term I prefer is gender queer. I get my hair cut by Julie, and every time I come in for a trim the other barbers recognize me, ask how I’m doing, and are genuinely caring. Not only do I feel like I’m part of the community here, but the quality of cuts are outstanding. I’ve actually had my hair cut by a few of their barbers over the years and I’ve always been happy with the result. I’ve been to quite a few barbers & salons in the area, and United Grooming is truly the best. I get my hair cut by Julie, and every time I come in for a trim the other barbers recognize me, ask how I’m doing, and are genuinely caring. Not only do I feel like I’m part of the community here, but the quality of cuts are outstanding. I’ve actually had my hair cut by a few of their barbers over the years and I’ve always been happy with the result. Highly recommend!

We are super grateful for not just their amazing haircuts, but the inclusive, lovely atmosphere. Not to mention, the Grand location is so vibey and centrally located. 12/10 recommend.Service: Haircut
